Gaze at the starts or lay on the lawn close your eyes to hear the rush of the creek after a rainy day! Hear the wildlife while watching a movie outdoor on our swinging daybed or possibly spot some deer! 

The Birdhouse Tiny Home

This is a really cool, new, cabin-style tiny home, nestled in the wooded acreage on our quiet property. A rare secluded forest retreat in the city perimeter! Perfect for work-at-home with dedicated work space. Romantic honeymoon  or small family getaway experience. Enjoy your private fire-pit area, creek and wooded trail. Munson Hill Farm

The farm was purchased 40 years ago by the Miller family. Two families have been raised here it has been a great home. Local Boy Scout Troops have camped here on numerous occasions and always been back for more. NW GA Farm Stay

Footehills Farmhouse is a small family owned and operated farm in Northwest, GA, in the little town of  Taylorsville. We are stewards of 18 beautiful acres, and nestled between hills covered in hardwoods and Old Taylorsville Church Cemetery. We are very close to Atlanta, GA, Red Top Mountain State Park, The Booth Museum, Tellus Science Museum and the City of Cartersville, GA. GA mountains and apple country are a short 1.5 hour drive from our location. Our farm is a small local market style farm, hosting many TN Fainting Goats (enjoy all the kids in the spring), Sheep and spring lambs, around 40 or so chickens and piggies depending on the season. We also grow figs, herbs garlic and veggies. Feel free to harvest a few fresh herbs and produce for your first dinner!

We moved our camp chairs under our canopy and added a side panel to enjoy a brief rain. Hills in the background are part of the farm property. A return visit will certainly include a hike there.

We set up camp between the shed and the camper. This was full sun, which we wanted for our solar panel, but there are many shady spots.

there are paths across 4 acres minimum of the property to explore and find all sorts of natural inhabitants. There is a very large firepit and seating area where tent site could go or you can choose a more secluded area in the back. In emergencies we will be in the main house but this is primitive camping, no amentities included other than bottled water, trash can and a shovel. Dogs are welcome to stay in the fenced yard, but will be an additional fee for boarding, they can stay with you at your site for free but please dont allow them to bark all night. 

We want to be hands off only provide the land and your privacy on it.

Close to the renfair, sweetwater creek, serenbe, downtown atlanta, Chattahoochee hills and Chattahoochee river
