Hello Campers, We are a 125 acre property that has 36 holes of championship disc golf. The North Oconee River runs through our property as well as three ponds throughout. We have plenty of room to pitch your tents. It really depends on how far you would like to be from the bathhouse. We are 6 miles from Lake Lanier and the Chattahooce River, and a short drive to hiking/mountain biking trail heads. We have a wonderful bathhouse with restrooms, showers and laundry just a very short walk from our sites (maintained by the staff at the park). We're also pet-friendly and love our furry campers! And they are right. 4 friendly adult goats, 2 indoor-outdoor cats who like belly rubs, and a vegetable and ornamentals garden that hosts several Georgia natives and pollinator species. It's a happy and peaceful place! The woods around us support several owls, Coopers hawks, some deer and an occasional red fox. There is a small nature trail that features several beautiful places to meditate by the babbling creek. Access to our neighborhood's recreation area as our guest to the swimming pool is available for an extra fee of $5/person (May-Oct). (For the safety of our goats, your fur babies larger than 10lbs are not permitted. One of our goats lost an eye once to a dog, and she's never fully forgiven me. ) We have several housemates, so parking is limited to street parking (one vehicle for you).  Amenities on-site- Animal cuddling. Nature Trail. Wildlife Watching. Creek wading. Gardening help. Wi-Fi Amenities Nearby- Bike Path (The PATH Foundation) - 5 min. Stone Mountain Park - 13 min. When we arrived it was a very well designed property with each spot a bit of history. But what I thoroughly enjoyed the most was the fish in the stream, and lucky me never being there before, picked 1 of 2 perfect spots just bc I wanted to be by the water. I arrived early enough to watch other campers arrive late and enjoyed a wonderful time by the fire, burning 11 logs over a decent amount of time which cost me $11, I was also given a reason to return at a different time of yr to enjoy a whole different type of Christmas.

Another incredible stay at Rest and Relax Retreat ! I try to get up here and tent camp at least every 2 to 3 weeks. Ralph does have a couple of cabins that you can rent also but…I prefer tent camping, especially in the winter right next to the creek. As usual, it exceeded my expectations just with the beauty of the place and all the nice accommodations that Ralph provides…such as, a canopy for each tent site, a smokeless fire pit for each site, and a hammock and picnic table also for each site, oh, and did I mention the common house… where there is a seating area with plenty of outlets to recharge your phone or power station if need be, while you enjoy a cup of coffee from the provided Keurig, coffee, sugar and cream, included and or, take a hot shower at one of two bathrooms inside the common house. He also provides firewood at no charge. Most of the time I have so much wood left over that I can’t even burn it all in the weekend stay ! But if I do run low, it is no problem. I can text Ralph or usually before he turns in for the evening… he will do his walk around to each site. Making sure that everyone has anything and everything that they need, before he himself turns in for the night. The land is beautiful, so are his dogs and his goats. You won’t go wrong if you choose this place… relax by the creek 10 feet away, with a campfire going just in front of you, to soothe your anxieties away. Thank you so much again Ralph for everything!

We had an awesome time at Lula Disk House! We opted to tent camp instead of glamping and we loved the primititive area where we set up! I have never stayed somewhere so peaceful and private. The bathrooms were beautiful and well stocked, and there was a sweet dog who seems too live there who found us a few times. We absolutely loved the OG Lula course and cannot wait to return to try Red Hawk Ridge. This site is within driving distance of Tallulah gorge and Helen if you are up for the journey! We have already recommended this place to all the disk golfers we know and will definitely be back!

4 nights at Deer Valley RV Park

For site number 3 (the one my wife and I stayed at) it was an easy back in to get our 45 toy hauler into the site. Sites 1 and 2 may have presented a challenge for our size rig but they are very spacious. All of the sites that is. Entry and exit of the park was easy and straight forward. We loved the close proximity to family in the area especially for our Thanksgiving stay. There was one limb that was touching the back corner of our roof and with a simple call to William, the issue was resolved quickly with a quick cut from his pole saw. We definitely plan to return to Deer Valley RV in the future. Thank you William!

This site was perfect! Ralph had everything set up for us in advance a canopy, chairs, hammock, fire pit, and all the wood we could need. Loved the trickle sound of the stream at night. Was surprised the price included all the extras. The common area was brand new and clean. We would definitely camp here again or in one of the cabins.

We enjoyed our stay at Deer Valley. The sites are well maintained and offer all of the amenities a camper would need. They also have firewood on-site for purchase at a fair price. We appreciated the convenient location being near to grocery stores and restaurants. We will stay again next time we're in the area.

Weekend Trip to Lula Disc House

Our group of 9 adults, 2 dogs, and a 4 month old baby had a great time tent camping in the community site. The bathrooms were very nice and conveniently located. All the staff were top notch and the disc golf was the cherry on top. Thanks Corbin, we will be back!
