Explore the innumerable trails and waterfalls of the Smokies; fish in the Lake or numerous rivers and streams; swim in the Lake and at the sand beach down the road; rent a pontoon boat; travel the Blue Ridge Parkway; enjoy the shopping and restaurants of nearby Cashiers and Highlands. Or just chill out. These are truly unique high altitude sites with amenities you won't find elsewhere. Both are in a gated "subdivision" that has 60 lots but only 8 houses - the rest is woods and the only place in your vicinity is our cabin. With unmatched mountain and western views, if you like the great outdoors on the mountain and in the woods, This is the place for you and your family. If you like a more camping style with tent (provided), covered camp kitchen, table and firepit ( along with the uncovered ones) check out Smoky Mountain High. Don't like tents? No problem. Check out our Treehouse with kitchen, bunks, grill, cooktop, heaters, W/C and more. Prefer indoor rustic luxury? The Glenville Aerie (4100') is a fully furnished, annex we built for our family, guests and friends who value their privacy. Walkie-talkies to facilitate mountain communications. Board games too. Access to our dock, canoes and kayak? Yep. Adult life preservers provided. Secret nature trail to our kids playground and trampoline. Hammock, kid's swing, hanging chair and dining for 6. Visit with Jake the Cat and our chickens. This area is truly one of a kind spiritual respite. These mountains are justly known for hiking, fishing, water sports, chilling out and forgetting about the Virus, politics and the nuisances of the workaday world. There are 3 treehouses present on these 5 acres of land tucked into the National Forest. A stream runs past 2 of the treehouses down to a pasture with a small assortment of animals. The property includes friendly, free roaming, outdoor cats that will likely keep you company during your stay. Do note there are dogs at the main cabin. While on your glamping trip, there are several places nearby to hiking, fishing, swimming, and if you're brave enough, even biking the ups and downs of the mountain roads.

Magical Treehouse Mountain Getaway

Head to the forest for your next magical treehouse getaway! This treehouse is supported by a single tree overlooking the forest in all directions. It comfortably sleeps 4 guests. Inside, guests will find a queen bed in the open loft upstairs and a full size futon on the main level. The treehouse is an open concept floor plan in an octagon shape around the tree to maximize space and functionality. On the main level, there is a stocked kitchenette and barstool seating at the counter. You'll find various board games available as well. Guests have access to a private half bathroom located under the loft ladder. There is an additional half bathroom and showers a short walk away at the bathhouse. The bathhouse is a shared facility between three treehouses. It features two showers and two bathrooms (all separate rooms) and is fully climate controlled (warm in winter, cool in summer). It is cleaned daily, sometimes multiple times a day depending on usage. In the shower rooms, guests can find shampoo, conditioner, and body soap available for their use. In the bathrooms, there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and hair dryers available as well. This treehouse has been furnished for any needs you might have. All linens are provided (all bedding, kitchen towels, bath towels, etc) and additional linens are available upon request. This treehouse has a kitchenette area, complete with sink, drip-pot coffee maker (coffee, creamer, sugar provided), toaster, microwave, and half-size refrigerator. There are additional items such as a rice cooker, water kettle, and some snack items provided as well. This treehouse also has a Blackstone Griddle for cooking in an outdoor cooking area. There is a parking area for guests' cars. The path is well-lit, so there's no need to worry if guests arrive in the evening. The property owners live on property and are readily available to help during check in and check out. This treehouse has its own private fire-pit with firewood and fire starter provided. This treehouse is dog friendly with no additional fee. Treehouse Mountain is a property designed with one thing in mind: relaxation. The property provides 30 acres of mostly forest land for guests to explore. It features four uniquely designed treehouses to fit any travelers needs, and is perfect for hosting groups and events! Here at Treehouse Mountain, our goal is to provide everything that we would want if we were to travel to other rentals. During your stay, you can find that we are readily available if there's anything we can help out with or want help planning your trip to the area as well.
