We knew our property was a special place when we found it during our search when we decided to move our alpaca farm from FL to GA. We have raised alpaca for last 17 years. They are a fiber producing animal (similar to sheep) as well as just a beautiful animal, have great personalities and it is amazing to watch the herd dynamics. We have 2 very spoiled donkeys (sister and brother-gelded) - have had them for about 18 years. We are committed to provide the best care possible for our animals and love to educate people about alpacas (and donkeys). There is a large covered deck overlooking the alpaca pastures - come hang out with them. We have a farm store onsite with various items for sale made out of the alpaca fiber (socks, scarves, sweaters, hats, plushies, etc). As part of your stay, we provide a short alpaca farm tour!
There is a 2 acre pond on our property which is adjacent to the campsite area separated by a fence. The campsite area is located away from our main house and the alpaca barn. What a beautiful spot to camp! We enjoyed a lovely evening walk with our dog and another before leaving in the morning. Thomas is a pleasant and accommodating host. The facilities were clean and offered everything we needed. Definitely felt like a safe place to stay. We would highly recommend this Hipcamp site and host.

Very accommodating hosts and owner. Full hook up right next to a lake, walk out the camper and fish under the massive cypress trees.
They have full hook ups, laundry, playground and dog park. On the weekends there is a restaurant operating. It’s very quiet and peaceful.

The campsite was easy to find. Tom is a gracious host. The property was well-maintained: toilet worked and was clean, shower worked, and the screened picnic area was set up nicely for preparing meals. The meadow where we set up our tent was mowed and neat. Another couple was also staying that night, and they were delightful. We had a quiet night sleeping under the stars and woke up refreshed. We will not hesitate to stay here when our travels bring us back through Georgia.

To be honest, my wife and I have been to Tom’s hip camp before and have always found it as a relaxing getaway. We also enjoyed this trip and expanded what we typically would do. We ended up going to the A H Stevens State park and went through his home in Crawfordville, Georgia, and checked out some other really cool history in the area that isn’t far. We also met a great couple that we connected with and shared a couple hour conversation that really made the whole weekend relaxing and fun.

This is the property drive past wishing you owned. A pond with a little beach perfect for some paddle boarding or kayak. Sounds of nature.
We used this a spot on the way to Georgia but wished we had more time to stay. Victor was very nice and he’s done an amazing work to the property making it comfortable with the electric water and sewer hook up. Our dog Rusty was excited to make friends with Victors dog blue and it was so cute seeing them sit outside the camper and play together. We will definitely be marking this as a must stop.

What a peaceful little quiet spot in this giant world. Tom was an excellent host. He has trails to walk. Beautiful pond. Fully stocked. I LOVED how one minutes you're in a field, then the woods, then a swamp. My favorite were the little bridges. Lots of wildlife. Truly a Gem. I will definitely return.

Group trip
We had a very relaxing weekend, despite some rain. The property is very quiet, dock access was great, Scott even caught a few fish! And we were treated to some Fireworks by the neighbors. Kevin was a great host, the welcome gift was appreciated! Overall had a great weekend camping.
