Goats and Birds at Hideaway Farm

2 sites · RVs3 acres · Tucker, GA
Learn more about this land: We have a suburban hobby farm hidden away in the undeveloped acreage at the back of a 1960s subdivision. Everyone who comes down the driveway says "What?! How is this here? This is so cool!" And they are right. 4 friendly adult goats, 5 free-ranging hens, 5 cartoonishly-cute ducks. It's a happy place! The woods around us support several owls, Coopers hawks, some deer and an occasional red fox. There is a small nature trail that features several beautiful places to meditate by the babbling creek. Access to our neighborhood's recreation area as our guest to the swimming pool is available for an extra fee of $3/person (May-Oct). (For the safety of our goats, your fur babies larger than 10lbs are not permitted. One of our goats lost an eye once to a dog, and she's never fully forgiven me. ) We have several housemates, so parking is limited to street parking (one vehicle for you).  Short 1 min walk to campsite. Amenities on-site- Animal cuddling. Nature Trail. Wildlife Watching. Creek wading. Gardening help. Wi-Fi Amenities Nearby- Bike Path (The PATH Foundation) - 5 min. Stone Mountain Park - 13 min. Bramlett Farms

30 Acres of Mostly Wooded Land just outside Atlanta and convenient to the highway. We bought this property that borders our home about a year ago to stop it from becoming townhomes. We're working in the direction of building an event space and airbnb tiny home community but until then we have put in a few RV spots to start sharing this beautiful property. We have walking trails down to a creek and bridge with more to come.

Wild & Free Farm

4 sites · RVs, Tents13 acres · Palmetto, GA
WELCOME, tent campers, RV campers and tiny house owners to WILD & FREE FARM! We provide warm hospitality, a beautiful camping environment and amenities to meet your logistical needs (bathroom access, a 30 amp and 50 amp hook-up and water hook-up). Our story..........We moved from an in-town Atlanta neighborhood to Chattahoochee Hills in 2019 in order to be closer to extended family and to immerse ourselves in nature. This leap-of-faith move has proven to be the most life-giving decision our family has ever made. We cherish this community: our rural neighbors of Chattahoochee Hills, our neighbors of Serenbe, as well as the community of wildlife that resides all around us. This is a land rich in natural and cultural history cared for by the Hearn family for generations prior. Some of the family members have generously shared their oral history with us. Come stay a while, and if you are interested, we will share those stories with you!

Treasure Chest Treehouse A Utopia In The Woods

1 site · Lodging8 acres · Hampton, GA
This treehouse was architecturally designed by the owner Karee as well as interior designed. Every wood piece of art and furniture throughout the treehouse was built by hand at the estate i.e bed frame down to the paper towel holder. Her design concept was a Treasure Chest, inspired by her 3 boys. A Treasure Chest because they are typically made from wood with metal brackets keeping everything together, normally when shown in movies they have a glowing neon light emitting from the inside. The treehouse lights up like a Treasure chest at night. Imagine a large wooden box sitting 15ft above the grounds with a metal roof keeping everything together. The treasure inside being YOU, & whatever memories you choose to create while you stay at the Estate.  Three comfortable adjacent hammocks, 2 bowl macrame swings, shaded by lush greenery for relaxing conversation, reading or rest. A fire pit area, waterproof indoor/outdoor electric candles and twinkling string lights to set a relaxing ambiance, coupled with the sound frogs, cicadas, crickets, grasshoppers, and katydids to ensure a peaceful nights rest.Learn more about this land:There is not a safer place than in the middle of our private woods! The Treasure chest Treehouse is one of the most unique stays in Georgia. We are a 8 acre agriculture farm estate we raise chickens, monarchs, bees, frogs & ducks. Have private trails, swings, hammocks, creek & swinging picnic table
