Awesome yurt! Great experience. Loved it! Located in town, easy to get around. Not very private as it is super close to the homeowners house and right in town but we still enjoyed our stay.

Great opportunity to meet people, Ellen is friendly and helpful. Definitely feel relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking to unwind from city of Florida.
P.S I will pay extra if hot water is available.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dan's place. For us, it was a place where we could relax for a few days and get projects done around the house. Dan is personable, friendly, helpful, and considerate, touching base but allowing us our privacy. When the payment platform had issues, he was willing to extend our stay until I could get it worked out. The spot was flat, sandy but with grass, with beautiful old trees, and of course, his little farm. There is traffic noise but we are accustomed to that. Excellent spot to see a full moon! Very cozy and close to Brooksville, which has everything you need. We did Weeki Watchee and loved the little thrift store next door.

1 night at Yurt Glamping Nature in the City
We loved our stay at Ellen’s yoga yurt! It was better than I even could have expected, and was such the perfect little spiritual retreat. We opted to add on the Kundalini Yoga and Sound Bath experiences and are SO happy that we did. These are the kind of experiences you usually have to travel out of the country for. I truly loved the design and the decorations, and especially all of the sound bowls and instruments I got to play with while I was there. The gong and the rain stick were a few of my favorites. The tree house was another super fun addition, and climbing up into it took me back to my childhood. It was truly magical and I can’t wait to come back again. Thank you, Ellen 🙏🏼🧘🏼♀️🕉️

Very unique and cozy place! They have everything you need! Laundry, kayaks, a grill, mini fridge , dishes and cooking utensils and pans , and right on the water! Dog friendly and hosts are easy to contact and very accommodating! We will be back to manatee landing retreat! We loved it!

Great place to park my small RV. Right on the river canal that offered great kayaking. Comfortable out door furniture with tiki hut and grill. Kayaks furnished if you don't bring your own. Great place I would recommend and will visit again. Thanks for the great place!

Great accommodations for our weekend getaway! Host was very quick to respond and helpful with everything. The yurt was a very peaceful place while it rained on us and the sound bath crystal bowls were a soothing way for relaxing. All around wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend for others looking for a Tampa area retreat.

Weekend Trip to Yurt Glamping Nature in the City
Staying at this property was just what was needed for the weekend. Local to the area, but it still felt like a perfect “getaway” being in the yurt. Ellen was a fantastic host. We were excited to learn about the breathwork and sound bath she offers. We will definitely be back to enjoy an escape from the routine of life :)

Weekend Trip to Yurt Glamping Nature in the City
Yurt was bigger than I expected! I went there to meditate, do yoga, enjoy a sound bath and ground. The yurt has magical energy and I really enjoyed my experience. A short walk to the bathroom is a great city glamping experience. Excellent for yoga & meditation retreats the yurt could sleep more people than advertised., the host was exceptionally accommodating to create a customized stay & gave us concierge service & reserved a table at 5 star restaurant nearby!

We booked the RV spot at Manatee Landing Retreat for Mother’s Day weekend, and even though the weather was mostly rainy and cloudy, it didn’t rain on our parade! In fact, having the place mostly to ourselves made it feel like our own private oasis.
The tiki hut was a total game-changer—giving us shelter when the rain did come through, and a cozy place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. When the sun peeked out, we made the most of it with kayaking, bouncing on the trampoline, and exploring the beautiful area with our dogs, who absolutely loved it.
Even with the clouds, the peaceful vibe and thoughtful amenities made it a weekend to remember. We can’t wait to come back—hopefully with a little more sunshine next time

This is a charming spot complete with all the amenities to enjoy the river. Having use of the kayaks, fire pit and bbq made it feel like home and interacting with the other guests made it even better. Would stay here again.
If your vehicle is wide or you are not super confident backing up this space may be intimidating and it is difficult to use the dump so we chose not to at this spot. If you have a van or smaller camper there should be no problem.

What a gem! This place is a water, nature and plant lovers paradise! Launching your kayak (or there a LOTS to borrow) from the property takes it to an entire new level. The fire pit, tiki hut and grounds are great! Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Weeki Watchee! PS - I saw manatee, dolphins, turtles, every bird imaginable when I was there in early April. The trick to be out of the crowds is go up ABOVE Rogers park toward Mud River. I’ve done all of Weeki many times and this was by far my favorite!

We enjoyed meeting Dan, Very friendly and accommodating. Loved that it was soooo peaceful and quiet just what we needed . We were able to walk to a nearby thrift store . Truly enjoyed being able to feed Jenko Dusty and Chief What a highlight for us . We hope to come back in the near future
