Only 1 group booked at a time. This is "RUSTIC CAMPING"! IT'S A BEAUTIFUL FLORIDA PROPERTY with total privacy. Hog fence should keep gaters out, but local don't seem a bit concerned.

Irrigation Ditch: There’s an irrigation ditch running through the middle of the campsite, so please be cautious when driving in. Be sure to stay to the right side to avoid any trouble. 2. Mosquito Tips: The mosquitoes can be pretty intense, so I recommend bringing a Thermacell or two and any other mosquito repellent you prefer. When I camped, I kept a Thermacell inside my tent, which worked great to keep them out. Outside, even with two tiki torches, a fire, and a Thermacell, they were still landing on me. A heavy-duty Thermacell might be your best bet. Long sleeves and pants also helped a lot! 3. Site Updates: There’s been some growth at the site since I first listed it on Hipcamp. The back area is still clear, but the middle front section needs mowing. Keep this in mind when setting up your campsite. Also bring firewood. Sometimes there is firewood at the gas stations off the turnpike but it is expensive. Also, there is a subway right off the turnpike if you’re in a crunch for a quick meal

Beautiful Private Premium Site 45' (phase III) at the River Ranch RV Resort. Awesome tropical palms, double pad, good shade with an amazing native tree, firepit, picninc table, 2 swings chairs and a wood bench. The site has water, sewer, 30 and 50 amp and cable tv. River Ranch has a direct outlet to the Kissimmee River which is known for some of the best bass fishing in Florida and where many tournaments are held. U.S. Skeet and Shoot World competitions were also held at River Ranch. Perhaps the best known fact about River Ranch is that it holds the record for the longest operating rodeo in Florida. Many local and national champions perform here on a weekly basis. Tater Porter who lives in nearby Kennansville is a world champion Bull Rider. Also, The Saloon which was originally built in Texas in 1918 continues to be a favorite hot spot! Enjoy your stay at River Ranch! The property is easy to locate. The Mcarthys maintain the property, very well. There is a bathroom. This property works well for weekend hunting trips, or longer stays, there is plenty of room to sprawl out. Its accessible by two wheel drive vehicles. Its quiet and peaceful.

Very nice spot for quick getaway. My family enjoyed the ranch and the RV spot was wonderful. Large corner spot with fire pit, good patio furniture and even little swing that my sons used multiple times a day.

We Loved Rafaelas site 311. Beautiful big tress that provide the perfect amount of shade during the day while adding beautiful ambiance at night around the fire. Will definitely stay there again. Highly reccomend! Cheers! Joanne & Don Nolan
