8 nights at Lakeside RV site
Our recent stay was exceptional. The site is ideally located, offering beautiful views and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The host Laura and her husband were incredibly accommodating and have clearly invested a great deal of care into creating a thoughtfully designed, well-maintained space. It exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning.

The perfect escape for a few days. I enjoyed the lake view, night skies, fire pit, kayaking, and activities in the region. Good weather was sheer luck. The host is responsive and helpful. I look forward to returning!

The property is well maintained, relaxing, private and beautiful. We enjoyed watching the deer in the mornings and the hawks soaring over the lake. Laura was quick to respond to our questions and was a fantastic host. Excellent set up and we will definitely book again in the future.

We had a great time at the cabin and our dogs did too! We decided to come out for some star gazing and it was fantastic! We worried about canopy coverage being in the forest but there is enough of a clearing around the house from trees for a wonderful view of the sky and caught a bit of the orionids shower. The light pollution is minimal compared to most the rest of the state unless you go into Kissimmee Prairie National Park, but we really appreciated having the private fenced in space for our 2 dogs. The beds are comfortable, the ac works well and the fans in the bedrooms were very appreciated. Having to walk outside to get to the bathroom helps you feel like your still camping but the bathroom was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the firepit to make dinner and loved to disconnect for a while. The DVD collection was great and we would love to camp here again in the future. Thanks Hope!

Perfect lakeside camp! There is plenty of space for set up, camp fire, a great concret table and chairs already there. Its one of the best picture perfect Florida spots we have stayed at! We will definitely be back.

We spent three peaceful nights at Lakeside RV and couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing getaway. The site was wonderfully private, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the quiet and lakeview. Our dog had an absolute blast—plenty of space to roam and nearby trails to explore. One of our favorite outings was to a nearby park with scenic walking paths and a beautiful boardwalk stretching over the lake—perfect for morning strolls and sunset views.
Laura was fantastic to work with. She was incredibly responsive and accommodating, especially when we had to adjust our arrival due to unexpected weather. Her flexibility and clear communication made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
Highly recommend Lakeside RV for anyone looking for a tranquil escape.

This was hands down the BEST Hipcamp I have been to. The area for the camper was nice and flat and large enough to accommodate any sizes. The hookups were perfectly placed. But the winner… the view! Looking out on the lake sipping morning coffee was hands down the best moments. If you are thinking about this one, just go ahead and book it.

Very peaceful and beautiful location! Truly able to relax and unwind as you overlook the lake. Very private and clean. Host was lovely, friendly, and very helpful - we struggled to level our fifth wheel (we did not have our leveling blocks) and she came out to help direct us to the best spot. We felt safe and enjoyed the views and animals. We spent a super rainy week here but it did not "dampen" our time!

Our stay at the Olde Salt Spring Cabin was everything we were looking for, and we’re so grateful we found it. The cabin was spotless and welcoming, with fresh sheets on the beds and a cozy, homey feel. We loved being able to cook our own meals, and the thoughtful touches — like the collection of DVDs — made it even more enjoyable.
Our daughter had the best time exploring the outdoors, and our dogs loved having the freedom to run around the big open space. It was peaceful and family-friendly, but also convenient with a Dollar General just 7 minutes away. We even had perfect cell service, so we felt tucked away in nature without being completely disconnected.
Thank you immensely for providing the cabin with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like the perfect glamping experience, and we’d love to come back again!

Lakeside RV was absolutely fabulous! The setting was stunning and it was so peaceful. Laura was a fabulous host, very quick to respond. She also welcomed us when we arrived. The location is perfect if you want to visit Daytona, New Smyrna, or the Cape Canaveral area. We will be back!

Without an internet connection and without a cell phone, it's a perfect opportunity to detox from social media and enjoy nature. Never heard any neighbor, super quiet, very nice town, everybody was super nice and respectful definitely going to be renting again

This is a beautiful camp site right on the lake! We had a nice relaxing weekend watching the wildlife, fishing, and camp cooking!
The sunrises and sunsets on the lake were great!
There was lots of wild life, we seen a lot of different birds, and a deer!
We will definitely be back in the future for more lakeside relaxation!

Weekend Trip to The Olde salt Springs Camp
What a gorgeous property! The cabin is so beautifully decorated. I can appreciate the thrifted lifestyle. The cabin was spacious and well stocked. The directions Hope gave us were very clear and the area surrounding makes you feel like your not in Florida anymore.
We went to Juniper Springs, 25 minutes away, and they don't require a reservation
For those wanting to visit the springs (Silver Glen, Alexander, Rainbow, or Blue) between May 1st and Labor Day, you need a reservation in order to get into the park. Reservations are around $20/vehicle and approx $14/person in addition.
*Cactus Jacks bar and grille is permanently closed* however, I would highly recommend Maxines Kountry Cafe. I've heard great things about Gator Joe's Beach Bar and Grill. Lots of hole-in-the-wall bars and cafes within 30 minutes of the cabin!

The views were amazing, very peaceful surroundings. I was surprised that there weren’t a lot of bugs, but my husband said because of the lake it had its own natural ecosystem. My family love the doc very much.
Would like to come back in the winter would be nice to just sit outside.
