We have 3 acres right in the middle of town in New Smyrna Beach. It's a quiet setting behind Sacred Heart church, sandwiched between a large open field and the railroad tracks far in back behind trees. We've worked hard to make it a cozy retreat - like setting where people can spend a few nights in an affordable manner just 5 minutes from the beaches and fun New Smyrna Beach attractions. Biking, boating, sunning, fishing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, eating... all within a few minutes of your quiet retreat. Our house is on the property but it's 200 feet away behind trees/bushes. It's a 100 year old house built from the wood of a church in NSB. Lifted up on a Coquina rock wall it is quite unique. There is a large secluded area where your dogs can be run. We have dogs too but there's plenty of room to share.

Hippie Haux – A Quiet Forest Spot Near the Coast Hippie Haux sits on about five acres of mixed oak forest with a few soft, rolling clearings. It’s tucked right near town but feels quiet and tucked away, and you’re only about 45 minutes from the beach. The land has a relaxed, rustic feel—simple, natural, and easy to settle into. The camping area isn’t divided into marked sites. Instead, there’s an open clearing where you can choose your own spot. There’s room for roughly 6–8 setups, so it works well for tents, car camping, vans, hammocks, and pop-ups. I also have a small trailer available to rent if you’d like something more comfortable, and there’s a raised platform you can set up on as well. You’ll find the basic comforts here: a fire pit, picnic tables, drinking water, electricity, a compost toilet, and an outdoor shower. There’s a simple communal kitchen too, plus easy parking. Fires are allowed as long as someone stays with them. Pets and kids are welcome. The land gets regular visits from deer, owls, hawks, armadillos, squirrels, and the occasional curious bunny. At night, the sky opens up enough for great stargazing. There’s a small herbal garden on site, and a yoga deck tucked under the trees for morning stretches or a quiet sit in nature. I usually have fresh farm eggs available as well. If you’re looking for something low-key, close to nature, and not overly manicured, this spot tends to be a good fit. It works for solo campers wanting some peace, families who want room for kids to explore, and anyone passing through on their way to the coast or springs. This is the parking lot of my commercial building. It is fairly private, with no traffic other than 2 employees at the building. It's more of a staging location for something else you're looking to do, rather than a camping venue. I listed the site here because I realized there are no RV campsites within about a 20 mile radius. Why might you want to camp here, rather than Disney's Fort Wilderness? -You're visiting family in the area and need a place to stay and park your RV -You want to visit the many attractions in the Orlando area, but not pay tourist prices and camp in the middle of it all -Maybe you're waiting for parts or service at one of the many RV dealers in the area -You need a short stop for water, power and provisions What do you get with your camping adventure here? -Plenty of space, a 100'x40' concrete slab that you can use as you need. The parking lot is on a slight, 1-2 degree, cross-slope. -Parking for up to 10 vehicles -30A RV outlet and 110V power -City water supply

We loved staying at this farm! We purchased treats to feed the cows/donkeys and our 2 year old thought this was the greatest! We also purchased duck eggs and they were so good. They do have untraditional water/electric hook-ups, but we had no trouble connecting.

Alan is the good kind of host. Makes sure things are the way it's supposed to be. Good site as a place to park as a base while visiting family. Water, power, no mud, no gravel, just 2 inch level up on one side. Highly recommend.

Most site have water and pwr which is a plus. No issues with no see ums at all in late sept. I had a spot all the way in the back that was secluded and quiet. If you not use to train noise then take a sleeping pill there are trains that pass by at any hour and the horn is loud. Overall it's a great quiet location not to far from the beaches. To drive on the beach is 32 bucks for non-residents. Craig and his wife are real cool.

Great location! You can bike ride to the beach or Uber. Located in a nice area and we even walked to dinner one night. We enjoyed not only the beach and restaurants but the lighthouse too (about 20-25 min drive). They were great hosts and it was a great camping site! Thanks for having us!

When we arrived we were met and directed where to pull in. Area was easily accessible for our 45 ft camper, back in. Very quiet area. Was worried because you are kind of close to owners house but barely saw anyone. Seems to be a very well used site, had a few other campers in and out. Again we really never saw others!!! Highly recommend. Very close to space center, Merritt Island refuge, site seeing, good dining and Cape Canaveral port. 30/50 amp hook up, water. Close to a Loves truck stop, KOA and other campgrounds for dumping waste. Had some plan changes and owners were very kind to accommodate for a longer stay!!! Thank you very much for your hospitality and sharing your space with us. Would definitely come back!!!
