Forever Young Farm

Sean and Mari are avid back packers, pole vaulters and surfers. We love and welcome you to our little 5 acre farm. My husband and I travel frequently and rely on little slices of heaven during our travels. We hope to share that with you all. Mari is a nurse practitioner and Sean is a pole vault coach. We got married on this very property. Happy camping!

Hi! We are a small family run 501c-3 wildlife sanctuary. We live on the property, and are available for any needs you might have. 

During your stay you will be able to see many exotic, and domestic animals. We also have at the sanctuary, and work with many critically endangered animals like the New Guinea Singing dog.

Our sanctuary is located in one of the few hilly areas of Florida, with the Trilby Trails just minutes away.

Idlewild Lodge and RV Park

Idlewild Lodge and RV Park is located on the spring-fed waters of Lake Panasoffkee and built on 3 acres with 10 cabins and 10 RV pads.  While peaceful and quaint, Idlewild offers all the comforts of home accompanied with plentiful amenities.  Positioned as a boutique lodge, groups may find it ideal to host private events and families will find the amenities to be entertaining while also serving as a unique, but truly “Floridian,” nature experience.  Located on the western perimeter of Lake Panasoffkee, Idlewild sits across a 9,911 acre state park preserving Lake Panasoffkee's vast floodplain forest, natural springs, pine flat-woods, freshwater marshes and oak scrub forest.

Recognizing the beauty Lake Pan has to offer, the current owners revitalized Idlewild in 2022 welcoming residents and tourists alike to enjoy the natural beauty and fishing opportunities. Utilities and amenity's are on a per night basis.  Electrical is 120v at 20 amps.

There is a boat launch, picnic tables, and covered area and charcoal grills to use.

This site is also available for a tent. We used the table just for hanging out.

This area is on the side of the hosts house.

This owners access park is available for you to use, only a few minutes walk from the hosts site.

Home of Many Miniature Animals

Our farm is off the beaten path surrounded by mossy oaks and lots of shade. If you are having a rough week, load up and relax on our working farm filled with miniature horses and numerous other adorable miniature animals that will be sure to
put a smile on your face. Pack your camping gear, tents, vans or RVs and find peace away from the traffic and everyday stress. There is plenty of nature and you can take a long stroll to clear your head.

Mount Dora is across the main street less than 5 minutes away. Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm. 

 We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee.

 Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on.

In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us.

 Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property.

 Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be.

have beautiful birds,
you'll be able to hear and experience so many beautiful birds.
Pitch your tent in beautiful trees with sounds of exotic birds and have your own picnic table. Fire pit potable water, toilet and shower is available in beautiful Rv on site.
Come take a dip in the pool and cool off under the Florida sun. There is flush toilet and shower for you to clean off as well.
