Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV. Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds. My dog Marty and I had an awesome stay at Shell Creek—it’s truly a touch of old Florida! The campground sits right on a beautiful freshwater creek, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax and enjoy nature. We stayed at Creekside Site B, which had a great view and plenty of shade.The hosts were fantastic—welcoming, helpful, and made sure everything was just right. It’s a place that feels genuine, quiet, and full of that classic Florida charm. I’ll definitely be recommending Shell Creek to friends, and Marty and I will be back for sure!

John's property is very nice. We had a great time with our family. The facilities were comfortable though we didn't take showers. We were able to get firewood from John each night for our fire. Our kids had a great time with the short hike to see a camel, Highland cattle and an alpaca that live on a neighbor's farm.

Beautiful oak canopies, areas with seclusion and privacy. Plenty of spots near amenities which are super pretty and convenient. Great visibility of the stars. A lot of options and flexibility to camp the way you want to camp and super nice host. Would stay on the property here over any state park/generic cookie cutter camp ground. Also the shower is really nice!

A beautiful wide-open glade with a serene pond nearby made this spot absolutely perfect. We enjoyed a small fire right by our tent and camped beneath gorgeous trees that offered welcome shade as the day warmed up. The outdoor kitchen was great for cooking, and the firepit added to the classic camping experience. With virtually no light pollution, the night sky was incredible, stars everywhere. Trina, the host, couldn't have been kinder and even shared some fascinating history about the land. It's and ideal place to unwind and immerse yourself in nature while still being conveniently close to groceries and other essentials. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be returning.

What an amazing experience. Hesitant to leave a review because this place is going to stay booked and I want to come back often! Best host ever, a frame was cozy and relaxed, great stargazing and fun for my 5 year olds first of camping experiences. We did kayaks, jumped on the trampoline, roasted marshmallows hot dogs and told campfire stories. Also had some great conversations with the host, great human.

I really enjoyed Trina's place; I loved that she let my dog Bandit, play ball off leash. I think Bandit liked her too because he was right behind her "he normally doesn't leave my site" anyway you are provided with the necessities, a 2-burner propane stove, sink where you wash your dishes, she even filters the drinking water and puts it in a glass jug." how sweet is that" there is an out-house, oh and if you want to soak under the stars, there is an old cast-iron tub, you get to experience the way they did it back in the old days, by building a fire under the tub.! " hot tub "and a fire pit where you can hang out and meet new friends. let's not forget the shower also under the stars. " don't worry you have some privacy there" anyway it was my first hipcamp, Bandit and I had fun. stop by the Flitterbug Farm and tell Trina Norma says hi.

Super cute homestead with good vibes all around. A communal setting with a compost toilet, a shower, water, kitchen, etc. We camped with our 2 dogs and parked right by our site which was nice. Lots of roosters and dogs in the surrounding areas, but the site was pretty peaceful with a nice big tree to pitch our tent under!
