We loved this spot in the woods:) Tiffany made sure everything was ready for us upon our arrival. It was a super private and beautiful location. The kids loved visiting the cows in the morning and I especially loved the peace and quiet by the fire with my morning coffee:) We had to check out early due to dangerous wind conditions but hope to return. Thanks for an amazingly peaceful retreat!

We had an amazing time at this campsite! Check-in was super easy, and the location is very secluded — it honestly felt like we were the only ones there, which made it extra peaceful. The site came stocked with firewood, a lighter, and even some cooking supplies, which was such a nice touch. The host was fantastic as well, with quick and friendly communication that made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

This place was so much fun! It was a beautiful, serene, country location. Don't let the farm vibe scare you - it wasn't smelly, "dirty," or muddy at all; just peaceful. The sound of crickets lulled us to sleep and the cool air made for a deep, restful night. With the door and windows closed, there wasn't much ambient (animal) noise and the rooster didn't wake me up like I expected. The "bed" was more comfortable than I expected. (I'm a wicked light sleeper and expected a rough night... It was anything but!) The RV was quaint and vintage, and so cozy and inviting. The bathroom is small but was just enough for us (shower and all.) Not having to sleep on the ground and being able to have my own restroom was precisely why we chose this site but it was leaps and bounds better than I expected. We'd return in a heartbeat. Nice, central location in CT, and if we were there longer, I would've loved to have used the kitchen and enjoyed the farm more. The coffee maker was a godsend first thing in the morning while we packed up. I feel like this would be an excellent place for an artist or a writer to escape and find inspiration. Lastly, the camper was away from the rest of the structures so we felt like the farm was ours. 1 night was not enough.

We loved every moment of our stay/experience, but our favorite part was definitely doing an evening tour of the farm. Molly and Diego were fantastic hosts and so generous with their time despite their busy schedules. The animals are so comfortable around people, a true testament to the great care they are receiving. The farm store was also lovely! I would highly recommend this to anyone who has the chance to go. I’ve already booked a second visit!

Ben the host was very friendly and helpful. The camping area was beautiful and grassy. The absence of rules and overly restrictive regulations was exactly what we were looking for. It is not an overly coiffed space but the community vegetable patches were very cool to see. Lots of wood to use and we had a wonderful bonfire!

We decided to go camping very last minute and this was the perfect getaway! We took our dogs with and they enjoyed every second. Almost everything you need is provided. All we had to pack is a stove, bedding, food, and a few toiletries. The best part was visiting the cows and getting to pet some.

This was my first time using Hipcamp and Michelle and her property truly exceeded my expectations. Everything was seamless. She thought of everything on her property. The guest hot tub was out of service and she opened her personal one up to guests. The Zen Den provided all the essentials. The guest shower area was excellent and had warm water. There’s a movie library. Super cute. I would highly recommend.

I was surrounded by about 2 dozen cows coming to see who was visiting.They are super intelligent, inquisitive,and friendly. Some will let you pet them. Tiffany was an absolute perfect host. Always got back to me right away with any questions I had. She was very down to earth. She told me I could explore the whole property and pet any cow I wanted. If you go to replenish your water at night in the milking barn go checkout the barn cats. They are friendly as well. Love the Little black one. She is not feral at all and will let you pet her. The campsite was super secluded in the pasture. You are all the way in the back of the property. This place is great! Will be back again.

This property has been in my family for three generations. It is classic Connecticut with hills and streams and stone walls. The octagon is a private 122 ft.² that is electrified and heated. It has a full size bed, cabinet and table with chairs. It sits next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, small waterfall, marsh and 2 1/2 miles of hiking trails. We are located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, close to the Village of Rhinebeck and the Hudson River. There are many things to do within a half an hour of the campsite. Learn more about this land: A very spacious semi-wooded site that is in the shape of a triangle. The dimensions are approximately 100' by 100' by 50'. Perfect for the large group camp out or the family site. The Lean-to is approximately 10'x9', large enough for a small tent or keep the picnic table in there for bad weather. Large or multiple tents no problem, put your tents in the wooded area where there is room for multiple tents. There is a fire pit area, picnic table, 4 outdoor chairs and corn hole that all are included with the site. A seasonal stream runs along the campsite giving you a nice bubbling brook sound.  Plenty of privacy with screens around the site. Within 15-20 minutes of our site is just about anything you could desire. Local restaurants, hiking, fishing, shopping, drive in movie and much much more. Rainy days no problem explore one of our nations pieces of history, Vanderbilt mansion, Theodore Roosevelt home, Montgomery Place Mansion, Poets walk, Ferncliff forest, or Art Omi.
