The sky's the limit when it comes to Outdoor Activities in South Fork Colorado. The town of South Fork is surrounded on three sides by the Rio Grande National Forest and some of the largest undisturbed wilderness areas in the country. The outdoor activities are countless. Nearby, the Rio Grande River and the South Fork River provide excellent trout fishing. In addition, there are many local lakes and reservoirs. If you prefer biking, hiking, or ATV riding there are many old logging and mining trails close by for breath taking views of nature’s finest. Aspen Ridge Cabins is located on the city's OHV trail, so you can ride right from the property without trailering.
