Cub Creek Trail Head is also around the corner. Evergreen Lake- 15 min car ride. Fishing, kayaking, picnic. Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre- 30 min car ride. Summer concerts, and movie nights at the park. Our property is at 10,000 feet in the foothills of the Rockies. The last mile is unpaved and has some steep inclines. Very private in the cabin! And somehow feels remote, while still being right off the road for exploring! A perfect quiet get away with beautiful starry nights. Has a very well equipped outdoor kitchen area and even included some extra blankets inside for us!! Thank you for a beautiful, safe, memorable stay!

This was the perfect cabin for a family getaway. We enjoyed all the amenities: the big screen for movies, wood burning stove and hot tub. The bed was comfy and scenery pretty. I personally would have liked a normal coffee pot, but my son liked the drip pot. It was nice to have laundry onsite to wash towels.

Absolutely loved this spot! The small cabin is very comfortable & has everything you need in regard to chairs, cookware, etc. My only advice would be to be sure to know your way out because Google maps got me there easily but there’s no cell service so be sure to remember your way back. Beautiful lake & Tim was so helpful!

We arrived late at night since our departure was delayed, but the place was easy to find. It’s only about a 20-minute drive to Cripple Creek, where you’ll find casinos, museums, and family-friendly activities. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The loft-style second floor had two beds on each side, hot water worked perfectly, and there was a convenient barbecue setup right in front of the house. We loved waking up to the sound of birds in the morning, watching the sunrise through the window, and enjoying tea time on the chairs out front—it was truly relaxing. Overall, we had a wonderful stay with a kind host and a fantastic place.

This was the perfect trip to get a mix of the outdoors with all the comforts of home! We spent so much time using the hot tub and the projector. The kitchen was perfect to make everything we planned and we were so impressed with all of the amenities. There were other people on the property, but we didn’t even notice and had tons of privacy. The house was super clean and so comfortable! We will definitely stay again and would recommend this to anyone looking to get away to the mountains while having all of the comforts of home!
