Los Padres Cozy Cabin

Fully furnished, beautifully decorated cabin bordering the Los Padres National Forest. Go out the back gate and you are on national forest property. Hike up past the other cabins and homes into 2 million-plus acres of beauty. This house has brand new and refurbished everything inside a 1940's quaint, custom cabin.
Ralph Lauren wicker canopy bed for two. Loft upstairs with bed. Wood-burning stove. Bring your personal items and food - everything else available.
Nearby to wonderful hiking trails, Hungry Valley ORV State Park, star gaze with astronomers atop Mt. Pinos, snow shoe and cross-country ski in winter time, tour the wild flowers in spring, including the California State Poppy Reserve, horse back ride, mountain bike, back pack or day pack, wildlife viewing - watch for the California Condors flying overhead!

Reptacular Ranch Zoo

Reptacular Ranch is a 15-acre ranch in the middle of the Angeles National Forest. It's also a private zoo of over 500 animals! Our 15-acre ranch is in the Angeles National Forest - near Los Angeles. The Angeles National Forest of the U.S. Forest Service is located in the San Gabriel Mountains and Sierra Pelona Mountains, primarily within Los Angeles County in southern California. The Forest is one of the few remaining open space areas in Southern California.   The forest is an important part of the overall health and well being of the area population. It provides open space, solitude from the everyday stress of modern living, a place to conduct research, a haven for wildlife, and offers a wide variety of recreation opportunities.Reptacular Ranch is also a private zoo of animals including tortoises and farm animals like goats, sheep, alapacs, cows, donkeys, turkeys and pigs. We have lots of birds, reptiles, and a camel and zebra! Welcome. 

Dreamy Wild Horse Ranch Cabin

Our family passion is endurance horse riding- for people which do not know what this means; it is a marathon race on a horse. For this kind of extreme sport, a already very fit and athletic horse needs to be prepared for riding in a rugged terrain at a faster pace to complete the race healthy and sound. Also the rider needs to be fit. I purchased this special location so i can condition my horses to perform at a best out there, in a tough and rugged race world of endurance.  
The left alone wilderness in the foothills and mountains housing some excellent training grounds, to get ready for some challenging races in the Western United States! This property location offers simply the much needed training challenges in all together, without ever to haul out, to train horses and riders for the confrontation of an terrain obstacle away from the ranch. In fact we have other riders coming in to train on the ranch!
Our rides which we are offering are not dude ranch rides, or which would be to us boring cowboy rides, we trekking mostly in English style saddles, since riding is to us an athletic sport on an fit, muscle packed athlete.
So the real equestrian enthusiast will not only find a grand ride in a fascinating Wild West nature, but also encounters a learning opportunity about equestrians.
For our guests which are not into the world of equestrians, but still love the beautiful world of horses and want to meet a variety of breeds, we are offering happily a guided tour of the ranch, and inviting you to feed our drafts some  carrots.
Fascinating for many of our guests are our American Mustang horses. We even have some wild ones right here at the ranch. 
Additionally we love ATVing; our surrounding off road terrain trail spoil our guests with panoramic scenery, while driving with sometimes challenges. For this adventure we have some few trail heads which takes off right here from our ranch.
Another important drawing card for us is the epic, world famous Pacific Crest Trail-which runs right in our backyard.  
If you looking to unwind in a peaceful, remote, wilderness world, for some hours off the day, or the whole day and need to head back to a cozy and comfy staying accommodation for the night, this ranch is a great approach to begin this journey!
For people which interested in geological science, we can offer a walk through the San Andreas Fault line, which runs right across the ranch.

Urban Glamping at La Boheme!

This historical 1904 Craftsman home, known as The Liddell "La Boheme" Home, is nestled on 1/2 an acre of land smack in the middle of Los Angeles' hippest, historical gem: Highland Park.

When on the property, surrounded by fruit trees and rolling hills
-- you can't believe you are in a city, let alone Los Angeles! I was introduced to the delights of Glamping at El Capitan in Santa Barbara which was amazing and I wanted to stay there forever!! -- BUT with a busy city life of raising kids and building my own small food business -- I wanted to jump from
Glamp-life to
City-life (and back again)
with more ease and share it with others.

In my opinion, the beauty of So-Cal living is that you can literally spend the morning surfing in Malibu and that same evening find yourself
skiing in Big Bear! (After 25 years of living here -- that reality still amazes me)

To mirror this unique juxtaposition - at La Boheme, you will find a tranquil Safari Tent Glamping experience - with hiking/biking trails and all sorts of outdoor activities anywhere from a 5 minute walk to 30 minutes away by car---- but you can also hop on the Gold Line train (which is a 1 minute walk out the back door) and in choosing one direction, you are a couple of

stops from Chinatown or Downtown LA's rich cultural experiences & exciting nightlife. If you decide to explore
in the other direction, Metro's Gold Line (in 1 stop) will take you
to the heart of Highland Park's bustling scene -
 offering a smorgasbord of eateries, coffee-shops,

speakeasies, boutiques, yoga studios
and art galleries - including LA's oldest bowling alley: Highland Park Bowl.
Take the train further and you're in the heart of glorious Pasadena
(home to The Rose Bowl and exceptional Norton Simon Museum)-- or continue out to beautiful Sierra Madre -- where there is
hiking and exploring galore! At La Boheme you
can
grill onsite, order
take-out, dine out, stay-in and book a personal masseuse (that will change your world!) You can find places to
hike, bike, play tennis, come back and shower (with hot water) - enjoy some bubbly with your honey on the deck -- take the train
downtown to catch a concert at the Staples center -- Uber back - light the chiminea -- roast a s'more or two and crawl into your super comfy REAL bed in your REAL Safari Tent!

Remember
-- this is URBAN Glamping -- a friendly reminder that there can be normal city noises throughout your stay -- like a Fire Engine answering a call - or the train running behind the property -- or a kid crying in the apartment next door. It happens. Life happens. Of the several people who have already enjoyed the Glamping experience of La Boheme -- normal city noise/life
hasn't dampened the experience at all-- only made it more intriguing! There is both a fan for air circulation and/or "white noise" as well as a heater, if you should need either of them. Plenty of extra blankets are available as well as a cot if you are a booking for 3 guests. La Boheme also is a venue for weddings and other events -- so we love hosting and want to do whatever we can to make your stay the best it can be for you!
