It’s a very nice spot. We loved all the old west decorative touches. We brought an RV and also rented the “Fearless Mary” airstream. Enjoyed the sunset and early morning views up there. Also dined below by the saloon under the big oak. It’s 25 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to shops and restaurants. The hosts were great. Emphatic thumbs up

We stayed at the cabins before but this was our first time staying at the campsite with full hookups. Just like before, we absolutely loved Lone Juniper Ranch and that’s why we keep coming back. It’s very safe for all kinds of travelers. Our doggos enjoyed running up and down hills. There’s something special this trip, we were so excited to see the 3 weeks old baby alpaca! 🦙 so adorable and friendly! Can’t wait to see the baby donkeys!

This place is amazing. We had the entire place to ourselves. The donkeys/asses were very vocal at times, which we adored.
Stars were amazing. Easy, laid back adventure. Camels in the background, sunrise and sunset just a quick jaunt up the hill.
We had the RV spot, everything we needed was there.
I suggest 2 days, and get the bucket of carrots. Bring sturdy shoes for hiking.

Absolutely beautiful views. The RV campsite is perfectly situated to catch a sunrise and the spring flowers are on full display.
Basic amenities were all accessible and we loved walking up the hill to the ranch and picking eggs from the chicken coop. Feeding the animals was delightful. Our dogs loved getting too bounce around the high grass.

The campsite was beautiful, especially during poppy season. The camels on the hillside were really lovely and it was fun to feed the donkeys and alpacas. What was not fun was the overflowing portapotty. Insist that it be serviced before your visit.

Lone Juniper Ranch is a great spot. Crazy that it's just 90 minutes outside of LA. You kind of feel like you're in a different world. We used the RV campsite. Power, water and sewer was available. The hosts are very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

This was exactly as described. I found the road perfectly driveable in a 24ft class C. The campsite is beautiful with easy hookups. There were some four-hoofed friends nearby, too. There are cabins right next to the RV site if you want to coordinate with other friends or family. Looked like poppy season was about to begin, too. Hosts were friendly and responsive. The bucket of carrots to feed the animals there really was 5lbs of carrots. None of the critters complained at all. I would definitely come back again.
