Currently the ranch raises Angus cross cattle, African Boer market goats and farms dryland barley and forage hay. The ranch is now diversifying into Agritourism and we now offer a rustic venue, Historic Almond Springs, and a butcher shop, Ranchita Meat Company. Almond Springs one room cabin experience is designed to ensure your comfort and cleanliness expectations are met while enjoying the historic property and nature’s beauty. Broken Branch Creek is a new family farm in Paso Robles, CA. Our land is abundant with with blue oaks, local wildlife, and plenty of walking trails running through it. There is a creek bed, usually dry most of the year, that provides excellent rock hunting and a shady hike with overhanging oaks. The entrance to the camping area is a very wide oil pipe fenced driveway off Branch Road, designed to accommodate farm equipment and cattle trailers. Sometimes map apps say you've arrived at one of the separate residential driveways on the property. Please keep looking for the commercial sized entrance. We are a 15 minute drive to the restaurants and shopping in downtown Paso Robles, 8 minutes to the Vina Robles Amphitheater, 6 minutes to the Hunter Ranch Golf Course, and 5 min to the Sensorio Art Exhibit. We're just off the Union Road Wine Trail among the Back Roads Wineries of Paso Robles.

We are also pet friendly! We sell campfire wood on site.Guests love staying here: "Wonderful stay! It was very private as we were the only ones on the site, no other campers, vehicles or other people were in our area at all the entire time. It really felt that we had space to settle and enjoy. The two dogs that live on site were a wonderful greeting and farewell crew! The portable toilet was clean and conveniently located on the site. Lots of vineyards to go wine tasting to that were a short drive away. Brought some twinkle lights with us that we put up to add more lighting and a special feel."

Hazel Homestead- Central Coast Farm

We are a small farm on a 1 acre gated property that has two RV spots and a bar shed. We have full hookups in both sites. Our town is rural but it's still close to HWY 101. We do live on the property, close enough if you need anything but far enough for privacy. We host happy hour for campers who are interested. Although the hours depend on arrival and our availability. We have a common area between the two sites that offered a nice fire pit. Our farm has 3 goats, 2 pot bellied pigs and 20 chickens that lay fresh eggs daily. We LOVE animals but we CANNOT ALLOW PETS. Also, sorry no tent camping. RV's only. We do not provide bathrooms or showers on site. Don’t have an RV? RENT OURS! We have everything you need for your family. Enjoy a weekend on the farm and glamp in our RV. We have all the amenities of home. Coming to enjoy the area? The property is just a few mins off the 101 freeway on the Central Coast. We are only 15 mins South of Pismo Beach, 30 mins south of San Luis Obispo and an hour North of Santa Barbara. The beach, wineries and shopping are all very close. Or if you are looking for a quiet retreat with some super sweet farm animals stay here and enjoy the farm. We do rent both sites out at the same time so if it’s privacy you are looking for please message us. Or If you would like to camp with friends or family we can accommodate two additional trailers. With 22 miles of shoreline and summer lake temperatures around 70°F, there is something for everyone; camping, fishing, boating, picnicking, hiking and equestrian trails, mountain biking, zip-lining, birdwatching and so much more. The warm climate of the Central Coast makes Lopez Lake the ideal, year-round recreational destination. There is a pretty good phone signal at the property. WiFi is weak and unreliable, but you can use your phone as a HotSpot. Fire Ban currently in effect.

There are rocks everywhere of every size. You can take home any rocks you want. We can accommodate having a spot to pen up your horses with water available as well. You can also ride horses on the property as well as along Rocky Canyon Road into Atascadero or Creston. You can ride into Creston and can have lunch or dinner at one of the 2 places in the small town of Creston.

There are daily deer sitings on the property and the location couldn't be better. It is close to the 101 freeway, but far enough for peace and quiet. We are central to Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay and Cambria. Only 30 minutes to Hearst Castle, 1.25 hours to Solvang, 24 minutes to Morro Bay or Cambria. There are more wineries than you could possibly visit, natural hot springs nearby, Atascadero lake, zoo, spas, amazing hiking, horse riding etc. Grocery, fast food, shopping & great restaurants are within minutes and the thrifting and antiquing around here is amazing. Atascadero has that small town feel with lots of community events on the calendar.
