The Cleveland national forest is less than a mile away and Black Mtn is in the distance stands at 4000 feet. We hike it with the Llamas and feel blessed to live in a beautiful place. Our plush & cozy bell tent was designed with the ultimate comfort in mind! It feature all the amenities you can expect at a hotel - therapeutic mattress, buddy heater, quality linens and more. The provided kitchen comes fully outfitted with everything you need including; hot chocolate, tea, spices and multiple cooking tops. All you need to bring is your cooler and food! Open fires are allowed (weather permitting) and bundles of wood are sold at $8.
There are a network of trails to explore nearby, as well as Lake Cuyamaca and the historic town of Julian. You can choose from various restaurants, breweries wineries and we also have two hard cider locations, as well as various other attractions and activities. We also offer mountain bike rentals right from the campsite.

Weekend Trip to Wild Seeds Ranch
This is a beautiful , lush 4 acre property with a creek, and other attributes. The people are kind, caring, helpful and there are 3 kitchens to use, outdoor and indoor. The air is fresh and the mood is uplifting. There are about 14 people staying there. We stayed in a tent since the rooms were booked and enjoyed sleeping there. During the day the there are many rooms and areas available to use each more pleasant than the next. It was a bit hot during the day in the tent but at night it was wonderful except for the border helicopters flying over and the motorycyclists that love the beautiful roads we live on.

We had such a great experience at this campsite! 🏕️ It truly has everything you need — it's clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully set up to make your stay super comfortable. We especially appreciated the little details like the hammocks 🌿🛌 — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
The private hiking trail on the property was absolutely beautiful 🥾🌄 — it felt like our own little adventure without having to leave the site. We also loved how easy it was to access the bathrooms and hot showers 🚿🚻. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made a big difference.
If you're looking for a quiet, cozy spot with great amenities and natural beauty ✨🌲, this is the place. We would definitely come back! 🙌💚

Weekend Trip to Wild Seeds Ranch
Beautiful, and lush ranchland, my family and I enjoyed emerging ourselves in nature but still having plenty of amenities. Those living on the property were at close proximity to our tent, but we still felt like we had privacy. Even when running into someone they were friendly and we loved getting to know a few of them!

We had an amazing glamping experience for two nights with our kids (ages 15 and 11) and our small puppy. Shantel greeted us warmly upon arrival, ensuring we were settled in and had everything we needed. The tents and beds were incredibly comfortable, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The heaters were a lifesaver, especially with the chilly late March nights.
The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essential amenities, making meal preparation a breeze. Our kids loved the hammocks and tree tents, and thoroughly enjoyed the nearby hikes recommended by Shantel. The evening campfire was truly magical, with the hosts generously providing firewood to get us started.
We can't wait to return with a larger group of family and friends!

Weekend Trip to Black Mountain Llama Farm
We had a GREAT one night stay at Black Mountain Llama Farm. Doug was fun to talk to and learn about the animals and farm from. The tent was comfortable and very spacious and had everything we needed. The bathroom and outdoor kitchen area as well as patio with fire pit were setup perfectly and a nice outdoor space to utilize. See all the animals up close (especially the llamas and donkey) were highlights of our stay. Downtown Ramona was just a short drive away to checkout local spots. Leaving with fresh eggs and a vacuum sealed chicken made for great meals once we got home. Will definitely be coming back.

What a FUN & unique experience. The glamping tent was cozy & the host was friendly and helpful. We loved seeing the llamas, turkeys, peacocks, & chickens. And the donkey Jackson was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Douglas was a phenomenal host. Our troop had a blast it was our first camping trip and they loved the farm atmosphere. Doug also gave a tour and the girls were able to have a hands on experience with goats, llamas and chickens. He was friendly and extremely informative about his animals. This farm is his passion and you can feel his appreciation and love.
