The cabin has a kitchenette and it's own private bathroom. In addition to the indoor shower, there is also a semi-private outdoor shower. There are also places to relax and enjoy the forest. There's a very comfortable queen bed plus a pull-out sofa bed that can fit 1-2 more people. The cabin is quiet but please note that it is within close proximity of the other house on the property.

We take great pride in extending a warm and welcoming space for all our visitors and extending the invitation to campers was a great next step. We have listings ranging from yurts to shipping containers, an old water tower converted to a mini suit to a vintage trailer and canvas tents. The diva den was my old music studio and the main cabin is our family cabin. This is a magical and sacred space filled with a ton of memories please come join our community and nook in the sierras and make some more. We are based in between the middle fork of the Yuba river right where it meets up with Oregon Creek. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake. On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink. The sauna and fenced-in dog area are near the shipping container site. The sauna has just been remodelled with a shower and bathtub right outside the sauna house. Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. We have a natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path, you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails.

We are blessed to be within minutes of many renown Yuba River swimming holes and breathtaking trails for hiking and biking. Nearby Bullards Bar Reservoir is a popular lake for boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, water skiing and more. In the winter, we are close to a number of ski resorts and winter sports activities. Our completely fenced Group Camping Area on top of a knoll with breathtaking views offers eight plus camping sites and accommodates up to 32 campers. An 18 foot long banquet table and benches is ideal for group meals. The oversized fire pit can seat your entire group. Dogs are permitted (with strict rules) within the fenced camping area. Included in the rental of the campground is the use of the community Kitchen and Bathhouse. The kitchen is equipped with two refrigerators, a stovetop and oven, BBQ, pots/pans and dishes (plates, bowls, cups, silverware) that serve 30. The triple sink makes clean-up easy. The bathhouse has two private showers, two private toilets and a double sink. Bring your own towels and toiletries. Outside the Group Camping Area are multiple RV sites from partial to full hookup. A furnished yurt and tent platform with two dome tents are also available to rent. Within walking distance, we offer several 1 bedroom/1 bathroom cabins with propane heat and AC. THESE CAN BE ADDED AS EXTRAS AT THE TIME OF BOOKING! A short walk to our newly renovated lodge fills the needs of those that want a little more pampering. The lodge accommodates up to 20 people with a commercial-style kitchen that can feed up to 50 people comfortably. Private Queen suites are available. The upstairs is a favorite of our kids with plenty of beds for an awesome sleep over. When you rent the lodge, to compliment your experience, we have a 1000 sq. ft. yoga studio (used for movement, meditation, and classes), a 1700 sq. ft. open-air pavilion (receptions, presentations, musical presentations) and a celebration terrace for weddings and life events worth celebrating. Our exterior wet bar is equipped to serve your favorite beverage on a warm summer day or under the stars in the cool of the night next to the open-air bon fire. A ceremonial sweat lodge, Tipi and gardens are in process as well as multiple cabins and campsites. Stay and play, learn and share. Our theme is solutions and community. We have a common area where guests may share food, evening conversations around the fire and music. For us it is not just about somewhere to lay your head, it is also somewhere to use it and share ideas and inspirations for the well being of self, society and environment. We are located 45 minutes to skiing at lake Tahoe and 5 minutes to Nevada City. Situated on 25 acres it feels like the forest but is a short 5-10 minute drive to amenities in the eclectic towns of Grass valley and Nevada City where there are festivals, night life and dining options. There is also an abundance of hiking, biking, lakes and rivers. Rock Creek is 3 minutes down the road and the Yuba river is 15. In full disclosure, we are getting these listings up to begin this new journey and get a sense of what people are looking for while at the same time, finishing and improving on sites. Things are still a little rough around the edges and so we welcome inputs and feedback.

We found our happy place and want to share it on HipCamp.Blue Belly Cabin is a contactless cabin on 12 acres of land that sleeps 4 comfortably. 1 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and great room with sleeper sofa. There are fabulous sunrises, sunsets and panoramic mountain views for you to enjoy. It snows sometimes at our cabin but usually stays only a day. Many campers come to our cabin to work while simultaneously enjoying nature right outside the cabin. For the hot days we have a swamp cooler and portable A/C unit so you stay comfortable. For the cold days we have a wood burning stove that heats the big room and keeps you toasty and portable electric heaters for the bedroom and bathroom. We have a heated mattress pad on the bed and an electric blanket for the sleeper sofa and extra comforters. There is a propane fire pit and propane bbq outside for you to enjoy. Blue Belly Cabin is a huge slice of peace. There's a large area outside the cabin where you can pitch tent(s) for more people. Nearby, there are premier fishing spots, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, swimming, waterfalls, national forests, trails to hike, 6 wineries and much more. We are 35 mins from Lassen National Park, 45 mins from Shasta Lake and dam. MacCumber reservoir is 25 mins away. We are 30 mins east of Redbluff and the nearest small town with gas stations, grocery and hardware stores is 17 mins away.
