Caddo River Secluded Shack w/Kayaks

Enjoy a park-like and secluded 2 acres on the Caddo River with over 1/4 mile of river frontage. This clean and comfortable shack is pet friendly! Watch the river and deer from the porch, kayak up and downstream from the property, swim in the 8-foot-deep swimming area or wade in the shallows.  Sit around the fire as owls call out and eagles and osprey soar through the valley.  It's a great place for a couple or the lone-traveler seeking a beautiful spot on the river!

Bathe in the antique tub outdoors on the screened-in porch. (Privacy note: Although this spot is secluded, we recommend caution when getting in or out of the tub if people are stopped on the opposite side of the river. It's usually not a problem though!)

The Beaver's Bend State Park is within minutes, as it the Broken Bow Lake.
 We have owned our property for 12 years, and decided to buy in Hochatown because we had been camping in this area for over 28 years.
 This area brings us joy, love, peace, tranquility, and seclusion. We love the nature, the water, animals, and sunshine.
 We even love the rain!
 Beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
 Our little piece of Heaven on Earth.

We are also close to all of the Hochatown events, eateries, wineries, & breweries.
 You can go golfing, swimming, get lost in a "secret room" or get a massage, within a 5 minute drive of our location.

Grab your pillow, towels, swimsuits, toiletries and come on to Broken Bow Lake (2 miles) or Beaver's Bend State Park (5 miles) and enjoy the great outdoors, in style!

Darbywoods RV Park

We love Broken Bow (Hochatown) so bought a lot for our RV so we could enjoy year round.   

We now spend most of our time in Colorado so want to share this lot with others when we aren't there.  This private one acre lot is for only ONE RV nearby Broken Bow Lake, OK (less than 2 miles away).   This is a heavily wooded one acre lot comes with electric, septic and water.  This lot is very close to the state parks and located in the area called Hochatown.  The lot is less than 1/4 mile from the center of Hochatown but very private and quiet.   There is a long level pad in the center of the lot. We have 50 amp power (30 amp if you have an adapter) for your RV.    There is a shed on the lot but that is for personal use.

Our lot is right off Steven's Gap road on the way to the lake.  If you like to fish the lake is less than 2 miles down the road and the river access is close by at Beaver's Bend State Park.  The are is abundant with wild life with plenty to do and see.

Bluegill Hill

Located at the southern foothills of the Ouachita Mountains and the northwestern edge of Lake Greeson, this 6 acre plot of land is part of a gentle hillside that descends into the lake.  Enjoy two trails to Lake Greeson and easily access nearby boat launches, public beaches, parks, and much more!  Come make yourself at home on Bluegill Hill and enjoy the small  lake village lifestyle!

Enough space for our vehicle, and the road down wasn't too tough on the tiny prius.

The fire pit came in handy since we forgot our grill top.

Not much shade cover on Kitty Cove, so we ended up makeshifting our own. Quaint little spot to hang out and cat nap.

10 self-contained rv sites with 30 and 50 amp hookups, water hookups and a dump station are located at the site of the Langley Gymnasium.

THIS PARK IS LOCATED IN LANGLEY, ARKANSAS! THE 911 ADDRESS IS UMPIRE ALTHOUGH WE ARE IN LANGLEY! This little park is located on the site of the Langley School, closed since 1968. All that is left is an old 1950 gymnasium which has been restored and is once again a viable part of the Langley community. Our site is self-contained only! Wifi is available onsite as well! This area has cell service but some carriers are better than others. This campground is where you go to truly get away! #eclipse2024

We are 6 Miles south of Albert Pike Recreation area. Overnight camping is no longer allowed at Albert Pike. However, you can still swim, hike, and picnic! Play all day at Albert Pike and spend the night with us in the comfort of your RV!

All sites are pull-through! Easy access even for the largest RV!

However, we do have some guidelines in place to ensure everyone has a pleasant stay. There is a non-refundable pet cleaning fee, and we limit the number of pets per tent to one. To ensure the comfort of all guests, pets must be house-trained and never left unattended in the tent. In accordance with public spaces, pets must be kept on a leash and their waste disposed of away from the tent site. With these guidelines in place, you and your pet can enjoy a relaxed and peaceful glamping experience.
