We have an 80-acre Organic Medjool Date farm located at the base of the Gila Mountains in Wellton, AZ. We are a bit off the beaten path but once you get here it's so worth the drive. The star gazing is amazing and if you like off-roading there are trails everywhere out here! We have an onsite Brewery and restaurant, open seasonally to guests and to the public. High Tanks Brewing Co is open November-April, Thu-Sun. Throughout this season we offer many fun things to do such as farm tours, live music, cornhole tournaments, yoga, farm-to-table style dinners, and much more. Beautiful views! 29 miles away you have Picacho State Recreation Area.  This recreation area is about as remote as it gets. Visitors must drive 20 miles down a dirt road just to get to the entrance! That's pretty awesome if you ask us. Picacho truly calls to all hardy adventurers. It was a gold mining town with 100 citizens more than a century ago. This park offers rugged desert mountains, colorful canyons, and the Colorado River. Keep an eye out for beavertail cactus, wild burros, the famous bighorn sheep and thousands of migratory birds. Hike through the mountains to see great views from above. Dip your line in the Colorado River to catch your dinner. No Pop-up campers, Campervans, or Cars Pets are allowed. Looking West a 10 minutes drive will bring you to the quaint little town of Wellton. A couple of stores and four eateries can be found here. Naked Dates is located 25 minutes from us, beyond Wellton, on the route to Yuma. This is a charming date farm and brewery nestled in the heart of the desert. They host a plethora of events all year round and provide delectable cuisine. The off-roading community in this area is legendary. The Barry M. Goldwater Air Force Range is the third largest land-based military range in the United States and is less than a mile south from the camp spot. A range pass can be obtained to explore it! Exciting experiences await you in this area!
