Running Water Creek

Running Water Creek is a unique, fully off grid campground just 20 minutes to downtown Chattanooga.  We have 80+ campsites spread out over 120 acres.  Most of the roads are accessible in any small car, but some roads require 4x4 (they're marked with a sign).  We have a bath house with toilets, showers, and sinks and even offer hot water!  Our well and cabins are all solar powered as we are not on the electric grid.

Some info about the property:
-we DO NOT have water or power hookups
-we have gravel roads with a 5 MPH speed limit on the property (if you drive too fast the roads will seem rough)
-we are right next to a highway and train tracks so there will be some noise (some days are better than others and we have no way of predicting how many trains will/will not go by)
-none of our campsites have picnic tables (please plan accordingly)
-most campsites have fire rings built, but if you choose a site without one you need to build your own

The fire ring and firewood available onsite was very nice! 

The camp bathroom was a short walk away! It was clean and well-maintained.

There was a big picnic and stage area near the bathrooms too! 

Took time to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning!

The Bolo Club

Our grandparents moved to the farm on Little Crow Creek on September 27, 1927 from up in Sinking Cove. They had six children with our dad, Charlie Jr., being one of them.
Charlie Stubblefield Sr. was a very interesting man with a wide curiosity in just about anything that had to do with history, Indian artifacts, Civil War, fossils, oral history, religion and more.
Therefore, the small museum on the property next to the pavilion is dedicated to our grandfather.
Charlie Sr. and our grandmother served as Justices of the Peace for over 30 years. Further, our grandmother was the backbone of the family, and was a gracious lady with a special personality to handle the rigors of the day; we miss them both very much.
The area has many interesting stories and legacies of characters of yesterday and today.

Kayaking available, bring your own or rent ours, early spring to mid-summer is the best time for this activity.  

Hiking is an activity enjoyed by all ages, we have a cave you can access by hiking and if you are a spelunker, you may want to bring your gear and explore more in depth.

Paradise Pointe, gated & on a mountain, tristate corner of AL/TN/GA. HIKING TRAIL to tristate corner. Kitchen/living room-queen bed & bath. PULL DOWN LADDER to upper level-queen bed, bath/garden tub. Hot tub & firepit. PP has 1 HuGe INDOOR POOL HOUSE/bathrooms, showers & outside deck-180 feet. 16 rentals has access to pool. VIEW FROM BLUFF & POOL DECKS!
