40 minutes north of Walton County beaches, welcome to country experiences at its best.

Walk through the 25 acres of meadows and woods or just kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet. You can pop a tent anywhere or use the small cabin. If you choose to use tents, the cabin will be available during your stay in case of bad weather. Inside the cabin are solar powered lights,  a couch, and a hammock. There is a small cooking area for outdoor cooking.  An outhouse is near the cabin as well as an outdoor, gravity fed shower, which is supplied from a rain barrel. This place is as rustic as you can get while still giving options for comfort. You won't find more clear night views anywhere else. The nighttime scenery is worth the trip alone.

This property has a beautiful stream that runs through the back "indian arrow heads have been collected from the shallow water". Home to numerous native animal species as well as our exptoc animals you can visit right next door "you might even be up for a camel ride!" We can provide supper each night at our picnoc tables or you can always cook for yourselves! We also have an animal park complete with petting zoo, pig races, music, games and concession items that is open on the weekends that you will have access to as a camper!Learn more about this land:Wooded area with huge ancient trees, hiking and horse back riding areas, with a creek that runs through the property. We also have a petting zoo and exotic animal park adjoining camp site that campers would have free admission to with campsite rental.

the pond is a fun place to come and have fun tell stories to people and talk about the good ol dayyou can build a fire and fish and do just about any thing you want to ride atv utv and horses cows and sleep away from people if you want to be in the woods by your self plenty of room for all the fun to have while you are here so come and enjoyLearn more about this land: Pitch your tent or bring your camper you will have fun you can bring your 4 wheeler or your horse make sure you have fishing poles and some mud clothes we do have a mud hole that everone likes to play in you can feed the cows or hogs and just follow the walking trails love to cook and have fun this is the place

HavenHill is an idyllic place to get away and enjoy nature without being too remote. You can completely rough it  by the campfire or enjoy your dinner under the pergola when available.  There is nothing like lying in the hammock under the trees with

HavenHill was part of a cotton farm at one time and the house that exist now was framed largely from the salvaged remains of log cabins on the property. After damage done by unscrupulous contractors and vandals, HavenHill is undergoing an extensive restoration. In April of 2020 HavenHill incurred tornado damage ,but is largely recovered....pics on fb HavenHill restoration.There are pear, apple, blueberry and peach trees at HavenHill, along with fig and chestnut.  It is my hope that HavenHill will become a Holiday farm where friends and families can come and create lasting memories to cherish a lifetime. Enjoy a private picnic and take a walk down a gorgeous, secluded  dirt road before building a campfire and making smores. Hangout in the swing or hammock  with your sweetheart.  Enjoy, the chickens, goats ,peacocks and flowers at HavenHill.Bring your bikes and set our for a day of riding. For those more adventurous you are welcome to explore the woods and find where the freshwater spring pops out of the ground, just remember to always watch for snakes!

Poor but Proud Stables

I am retired living a good life on 38 acres with my horses, mules, donkeys, a mini Zebu steer, my 2 dogs and cat.. I've had friends visit that had such a nice quiet time.. suggested I share it so others could enjoy, there will be work in progress ongoing but I've had a lot of upgrades and improvements to allow you to have a safe and enjoyable getaway..Learn more about this land:If you only need water and a place to park for your self contained camper, van or tent, this will work perfect for you.. there is a seating area in the upstairs area of the barn to enjoy watching the hummingbirds  and watching the livestock.. Or simply to enjoy the quiet, if you are traveling with your horses, you can set up your panels for no additional charge or for a few, we have stall and lots available..

Learn more about this land:Campers can hike the property and may catch glimpse of domestic ducks who live on the 2-acre pond.  Occasional blue herons and white egrets frequent the water and wild geese have been sighted on the pond.  The camping area is very quiet and accessible by single controlled-access road. Long-horned cattle are in nearby pasture and 3 horses and a donkey are nearby in another pasture.

Campsite is about a 15-minute drive from the small city of Andalusia, Alabama with various shopping and dining venues.  We are also about 1.5 - 2 hours from the Florida beaches of Destin, Navarre, and Ft. Walton Beach.
