Escape to a private campsite in rural Alabama. The property is surrounded by forest and wildlife. There are several places to hang a hammock and plenty of room for outdoor games like cornhole.
The city of Columbus is about 25 minutes away and offers white water rafting, zip lining, axe throwing, a river-walk, and other activities. There are plenty of lakes and rivers to go fishing. Auburn is about 40 mins away.
The site offers an outhouse, fire pit, fire pit grill rack for cooking, platform (which can be used for small/medium tents, or to hold a table and chairs) and a hiking trail that is about 1/3 of a mile.
Small cars are able to access campsite and park at site pretty easily.
The property also has natural wildlife like coyotes, snakes, spiders, ants, etc.. Alabama can also get very hot during June, July, August. Please prepare accordingly.
Meeting at the front of the property is not needed, just drive to your hipcamp and set up 🙂 Please message me about any concerns!
About us:
My wife and I bought this property in 2020 with the goal of turning this land into a homestead. We plan on building a home eventually and have cleared out our homesite. My mom and stepfather live at the front of the property and can help you if needed. My stepfather is retired and my mother works as a nurse assistant in town. It’s a nice country experience, I believe you will enjoy!

We’re located just ten miles from Gulf Shores public beach, making it easy to enjoy both nature and the coast. There is hot showers available at truck stop about a mile away and they have a dump station for those in RV. Come enjoy all the natural beauty or we are within an hour of hundreds of things to do for all ages. YaYA lives about 1/2 mile away and has a well available to refill your water. There is plenty of fallen wood to gather for fires or cut wood available for purchase. We have a community area with picnic tables, sun sails, grill, pavilion, and large bonfire. Please note the access road is old gravel and dirt, so if in a low car you'll need to take it slow. If there has been rain call ahead for entry directions as part of road becomes muddy. Camping at Pondview Acres was an amazing experience. The property is peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for anyone wanting to unplug and enjoy nature. The pond views are beautiful, and the campsite felt safe, quiet, and spacious—great for tent camping.
Even though it was pretty cold at night, the overall experience was still a solid 10 out of 10. It was calm, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a low-stress, scenic camping spot in the Brundidge area, I highly recommend Pondview Acres. I would absolutely camp here again.

Quite, beautiful, the dogs loved to run in the forest, was very nice setting to be at, has a table and a place to put your trash. Firewood to make a fire in the fire pit. It was just awesome, even has a trail to walk.

William’s site was absolute perfect for our road trip with our dog. Extremely private and secluded but easy to follow directions for access. We arrived after dark and had no problem finding it.
The site had the cleanest outhouse I’ve ever used and he definitely went above and beyond with the firewood (kindling pieces included) and s’more’s package (WAY larger than expected) I added on to our reservation.
The stargazing at this site cannot be beat!!
William was also extremely responsive to messaging. If we are ever in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook. Well worth the price.

We have visited this site before and it was clean , well stocked , and the host was very responsive. Sometime you find something very special and in my opinion , this is special. Lots of time and effort has got into this site. The grasss is always cut, there is a trash can at your finger tips, a outhouse that has bug spray, stink spray , toilet paper and other items. The trail to walk your dog around is well kept and inviting to walk. The host takes pride in his site and truly wants to see folks happy at his place, they even left us a nice campfire treat.

My wife and I love the outdoors, but we love the feeling of being isolated, and for the most part Williams land feels just like that, we have no kids so I can not say if kids would like it but we do... the directions were fine and being near a family dollar and dollar general within 15 miles makes it 👌 to forget something and run up and get it. Love the lights at night, William did a very nice job on the site.

It was great. Beautiful, level site. Full hook ups, and located on a private pond. 10 minutes to the beach. I was met by the host when I arrived, she helped me back in, and made sure I was all set. I will definitly be back!

The trip was so pleasant, it was our first trip in hipcamp. The Site was clean and gave the feel of isolation, which was very nice. This site had WIFI and a potty. It also was very secure, with a gate at the road access.
The host was there to meet us at our request, they help get us started and settled in. Super nice folks, heck they even loaned us a couple of fishing poles to fish with, now that is above and beyond.

What a beautiful property! I had the whole place to myself for the week. Idyllic is certainly appropriate. And the owners were wonderful, kind folks.
If your a big rig just be careful, as the sites are on the side of a hill and it's all grass. If you have 4 wheel drive you'll be fine.

North Alabama
