Sweetwater Campground will hit just the spot any time of year. Located right on the 72 acre lake, you are surrounded by shimmering beauty and forested greens and towering limestone cliffs. You can take the canoe out and fish for rainbow trout or kokanee salmon on the lake or hit up one of the trails that fits just right. Go with Cross Creek Trail for a stroll through beautiful sagebrush, wildflowers, and aspen forests; take Ute Trail to get to Deep Lake on the Flattops; go for the short but classy Scenic Overlook Trail for picturesque views of Sweetwater Lake and a cascading waterfall.
