The fires have not affected our greater valley, all roads are open again. We are a new family farm 10 minutes from Lyons, Colorado, on 15 acres of rolling natural grasslands with red sandstone cliffs and stunning views of Long's Peak and the surrounding mountains and foothills along the Little Thompson River. We raise pigs, sheep, goats, donkeys, chicken, turkeys, ducks and geese, and grow delicious organic vegetables. We provide farm food as well as cooked meals (farm-to-table) with advance notice), a fire pit, BBQ, an archery range, trails on the property, access to the river and a swimming hole to cool off in. We have a dog kennel if you would like to explore nearby Rocky Mountain National Park and need a safe place for your canine companion. In collaboration with SoulRemembrance, we also offer retreats, ceremonies and initiations (more at Soulremembrance.com).

Farm Life is Awesome
Want to get out of Estes for a weekend, somewhere close, and last minute. Scott and Claudia were amazing hosts - helped place our camper in a nice and private barn spot and we had a blast relaxing on this working animal farm. Our 10 year old was is ‘hog heaven’, made friends with all the animals and along with us, found his peace over the weekend. I would recommend this 10/10 for anyone who’s looking for a tranquil farm adventure tucked away in a beautiful location. The landscaping, animal pens, service, and space were all top notch!!! Hosts were atte tuve to all out needs and súper kind and generous with their place and time. Thanks so much! We will surely be back again for more adventure :)

Riverside Glamping Retreat
Great Stay! No Service
Scott was a great host, super nice and hospitable! I wouldn’t recommend if you have mobility or accessibility challenges as the hike down is a bit steeper and longer than expected, so just keep that in mind! As someone with POTS and from Texas, it was difficult sometimes but manageable. As for the tent, it rained and was quite chilly during our stay but the tent kept us and all our stuff dry, however watch out as the top gets a bit wet!

What a magical space to relax tucked under the red rock walls. I would recommend this spot to anyone wanting to get away without having to drive deep into the mountains.

Farm camping in a beautiful valley
Charming working farm with friendly host and tons of animals. Lovely location far enough away from town to feel like camping but not so far that you’re in the middle of nowhere. I don’t eat meat but I appreciate that they are humanely raising animals to provide high quality meat for sale and it’s really cool that you can opt for a farm to table dinner. You can tell that the owner really cares about his animals. Lots of land to explore and fun archery targets throughout. To a recent reviewer who said it was “disgusting”, it’s a farm. Farms have animals and machinery and can seem ramshackle, it’s part of the charm!

Quiet farm with a view
Nice site. Cute animals around and owner helped us fill our water tank. Make sure to read directions as there is no signal and gos took us to wrong spot.
