Property is beautiful in its own way but for the price and the amenities, I couldn't say you'll find better. Thanks for the great stay!

Majestic views
We had a fantastic stay at this location.
Rick, the host, was very responsive and answered all of our questions promptly.
As he mentioned, having an AWD vehicle is definitely necessary for the dirt gravel road, and make sure to read his detailed descriptions—everything you need to know is there!
We are from Denver, and this was a perfect escape from the busy city life, offering the ability to work remotely with majestic views. Idaho Springs downtown and Georgetown are close by, with plenty of hiking trails in the area. Don’t miss checking out the Bonsai Creations store nearby!
The property follows Leave No Trace principles, and the portable bathroom was very clean.
BTW: The dome was amazing! If you can afford bit more, stay at the dome!
While you can hear a bit of traffic from the highway, it wasn’t a big issue. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

A-frame # 3 Size 6x8-8x10
Great time!
We had a great time at the a-frame, #3! The frame is larger than the pictures seemed and it has a Full sized bed on a frame in the back. It was really nice to be able to lock up our stuff in the a-frame while we were hiking, as opposed to re-packing the car like we usually do for car-camping. The road up definitely needs a 4-wheel drive to be able to get up confidently. The port-a-potty was clean.

What an amazing place!!
Idaho Springs is already Utopia, and then you get to camp here! I stayed about a week and saw elk and deer. Rick, the camping host is great and communicative. Reviews are correct that you can hear the highway, but I work remotely and need the wifi connection, so it's perfect. And it's so close to town, while still being up in the mountains with gorgeous views. You don't need 4 wheel drive like some of the reviews say, but you do need to punch it to get up the hill if your a small SUV, and I saw a sedan do it too. Going to stay here again for sure!

Base camp C-1
It was super clean and well maintained, the privacy was perfect and had a great Mountain View! You can barely hear any traffic despite it being conveniently located off I-70, absolutely gorgeous spot and would come again!
