Mesa Verde Views! ~ Wood Yurt HOGAN
Great experience
Thanks Robin and the welcoming person I spoke with by phone on arrival! I didn’t meet any of the crew, self check in, everything was seamless. I was in Cortez for 3 days as a base to visit other areas and mainly relaxing in the Hogan mornings and eves. I loved it! Hope to visit again and have a campfire which time didn’t allow. Showers were great, generator power a bonus, and the experience of space, the best.

Beautiful!!!
BEAUTIFUL place to camp!!! We loved the views, the showers, bathrooms, kitchen, rec room, etc…. We also loved the location- it was quiet and on its own, but still close to everything. One thing that is good to know, is that they have water cisterns and so it’s filtered and tap water only- no hose or water place to fill rv tanks. Great place to camp, especially for families. 😁

UTE #2 Campsite w/Amenities & Views
The campground is in a beautiful desert setting, nice and quiet with lovely views. The common areas are great, with foosball and ping-pong. However, the campsite is basically a piece of dirt with a fire ring – there is no table and no shade. For $50, we expected a little bit more. The hot showers were nice and the one bathroom was clean.

The showers are more or less run down.
The access road is very bumpy.
Location and view is excellent.

What a great basecamp for Mesa Verde, Phils World and much more. Clean facility, an awesome kitchen, common space, good showers and bathrooms. To top it off, the hosts are fantastic as well. We’ll be back next time we pass through!

Peaceful, distant views
Robin and Troy were great hosts. The sunsets were beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy driving distance to Mesa Verde National Park for tour of cliff dwellers and to Canyon of the Ancients for a hike with our dog.
