A perfect basecamp for those interested in the area’s natural wonders, you won’t have to travel far to encounter a number of visitor centers featuring impressive interpretive exhibits, not to mention the Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite with prints from 167 million years ago! In terms of privacy, Shell Creek Campground tends to favor the many large tent sites, which are plenty roomy and well-spaced among the lodgepole pines. RV campers won’t be quite as lucky, but with walls and window shades, your vehicle’s built-in barriers will more than make up for the neighborly proximity.

Our Brewery is located in a field next to Signal Butte, a beautiful red cliff at the base of the Big Horn Mountains in Ten Sleep Wyoming. We are surrounded by beautiful vistas! Also please note we are located next to a Red Vista RV park. If you turn to soon you will be at Red Vista RV park which has concrete pads. SOOOO if you are at the concrete pads you are in the wrong spot. Check in at Brewery upon arrival. If you love to climb and experience the outdoors this is your place. Rich in history, this ranching town was the halfway point—or ten “sleeps”—between two major Sioux Indian camps. Surrounded by working sheep and cattle farms, today’s Ten Sleep, with a permanent population of only 260 is a fun detour for those on the way to Yellowstone National Park, and to the nearby Bighorn National Forest. Ten Sleep is so close to the Bighorn Mountains that you can’t see them from most places in town—the striking reddish-hued foothills block the view. But you can’t help taking in Ten Sleep Canyon, which rises into the mountains starting about six miles east of town and has grown in the past couple of decades into one of America’s top summer climbing destinations, with more than 800 climbing routes! Our guests also love staying with us! "Camping at a brewery was so convenient for us. The beer was super tasty and it was awesome that all we had to do was walk to our tent afterwards. And it was supercool to spot some pronghorn antelope right on the property."

We have been blessed with this beautiful property and want to share it with others. We have been operating an Airbnb out of the old barn for 3 years now. The barn was the old feed store in Cody and was moved to this property. Buffalo Bill supposedly bought feed from the store. Lovell is known as the Rose Capitol of Wyoming with the climate being perfect for growing roses. The Pryor Mountain Wild Mustangs are just minutes from our place and we almost always see them out there. Cody, only 50 to the west is a town loaded with history of the old west and features Cody Nite Rodeo every night of the summer from June 1 through August 30 as well as numerous museums and other attractions. Buffalo Bill Museum of the West will keep you busy for a couple of days if you are a museum buff. Just about everyday in the summer, you are likely to see a gunfight on the street in front of the historic Irma Hotel. There is also Old Trail Town, a recreated old west town. Further to the west just 90 miles from here is the East gate of Yellowstone open from the end of May until first of November. Thermopolis with their giant hot springs is just about 100 miles to the south of us. The Bighorn National Recreation is just minutes from Lovell featuring the 3rd Largest Canyon in the United States with breathtaking views of the Reservoir from Devil's Overlook. Further to the east are the Bighorn Mountains where you can frequently see moose, elk, deer and other wildlife. At the Rafter JB you will be the only trailer here, you will enjoy a large landscaped outdoor space which is shared with an Airbnb rental, but there is plenty of room for privacy. We are located and what is referred to as the hub of the big horn basin. We have lots of activities within a 60 mile radius of our campground. Including dinosaur museums, history museums. Buffalo Bill Cody museum large ATV open ride areas. We are close to the big horn river for kayaking or canoeing. The Big Horn Mountains are close by and there are lots of outdoor activities in the area.
