    Perfect for family reunions or a hunter’s retreat, the Jack Creek Crew Quarters is a large modern facility located in a beautiful area of lodgepole pine, aspen, and mixed conifer forest with fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, horseback riding and hunting available in the general area.

    This beautiful two-story log facility is remote, and located just east of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. Keep your saddle or pack animals in the meadow across the road where ample feed and water are available, or go sightseeing for your own animals, as a variety of wildlife is popular in the area, including elk, deer, bear and moose.

    Our campground has been family-owned for over 15 years. My husband Jered and I purchased the campground from our Aunt and Uncle in 2019. We have big visions and improvements planned. It is fun to see them all coming together. We are a high desert location so not many natural trees and greens right where we are however with each season we have planted more trees and created more green space. We are excited to be welcoming guests to stay with us! Tents, RVs, and cabins are all available. Any special requests please feel free to ask we will do our best to make it happen.     Our Mission & Story The YL Ranch is a welcoming and inclusive restorative guest ranch seeking to reestablish our connection to one another, community, nature, and the outdoors. The YL is a sanctuary for the weary, a retreat, and a place to be whole again, inspiring creatives and explorers. In 2018, Jock and Kimberly opened the ranch gate to guests, reunions, retreats, camps, and other special events. In 2022, we welcomed the launch of the Wyoming Backcountry Discovery Route and the many adventure motorcyclists from around the world! In 2017, Jonathan Boyer and his wife, Kimberly Coats, returned to their ranch in Wyoming. The YL was Jock’s childhood home. They had spent the previous decade in Rwanda running the Rwandan National Cycling Team. Jock’s boyhood dream has always been to return to the ranch and share its special gifts with friends and guests from around the world. The YL Ranch has been in the Boyer family since 1905. Jock and Kimberly look forward to welcoming you with their own unique style of warm Wyoming hospitality. The YL is open year-round and can accommodate up to 25-30 guests in summer and 20 in winter. Enter the YL and experience all the joys of ranch life and outdoor adventure – cycling (road, mountain, and gravel), fishing, tennis, swimming, and gourmet (sometimes fireside) meals.
