Green River Campground

Several groups can rest up here before launching onto boat trips along the Labrynth or Stillwater Canyons, and some may want to take on a few rounds of golf on the nine-hole course surrounding the camp. Arguably the area’s coolest attraction, though, is the dinosaur quarry five miles away, where you can see actual dinosaur bones encased in the bedrock.

None of the sites are directly on the river, but some are closer than others, and a few are on the shore of a nearby pond. Sites host eight people max, so if you’re in a big group, try to get a few sites close together, or seek out Split Mountain Group Camp down the road. Either way, you’re guaranteed great views of both the river and the mountains!
