Because Fairfield Lake is warmed by the TXU Big Brown power plant, it becomes a fishing Mecca in winter. You’ll find tournaments every weekend from November to February, but the fishing’s great year-round! Stocked fish include the red drum, largemouth bass, tilapia, and catfish.

Choose between the longer Dockery Trail at 5.25 miles or the Big Brown Creek Trail at 3, or simply combine the two for a lengthy adventure.
