(Room for your own tent too if you prefer) OR Your own camper or tent. (Site1) in a quiet, private location. Campsite neighbors are out of sight, you have privacy here! All sites have their own private entrances, you can’t see any sites or buildings, and they are very spaced-out. My location is situated PERFECTLY central to the major UP attractions Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls and Kitchittikippi. And there’s even a convenience store within walking distance! Showers are also available in town (Pickelmans gas station).

There is plenty of room for tent camping for everyone. it has a communal fire pit and plenty of wood laying around for a fire. i also have a nice 5th wheel camper on site i rent through another site. The best way I found to get there is to go right to Grand Marais. Then head east. A lot of it is paved. I went up Deer Park Rd. once and it was a rained out rutted muddy mess. I'll never go that way again. Heading east out of Grand Marais is easy (you turn at a giant pickle barrel) there is a turn to the left to stay along the lake but there is a sign that points you to the campground. Plus Grand Marais has some cool shops, a grocery store and a good restaurant.
