    Located seven miles from the Everglades National Park entrance, Long Pine Key campground is a tranquil and well-maintained facility open seasonally from November to May.

    One large group spot is reservable by phone at 305-242-7873. Long Pine Key is touted for its private and spacious campsites, easy access to fabulous hiking trails, tons of wildlife, and educational ranger-led programs at the amphitheatre. The restrooms are very clean and include potable water spigots, but there are no showers. Bring your own firewood and plenty of bug spray.

It is the perfect spot, centrally located between Miami, the Everglades, and the Florida Keys, each being between 20 and 30 minutes drive. It has a bed that sleeps two, as well as a seating area that the table goes down and converts into a small bed. The camper van is air-conditioned, has a conduction cooktop in the kitchenette, as well as running water in the sink. There is a portable flushing camping toilet inside. A grill, fire pit, hammock, and outdoor shower with shower pump sprayer. Linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchenware are provided. Located close to shopping, and food delivery services are available.

We boarder a nice neighborhood, and other agricultural properties. You can experience the best of both worlds, on the edge of nature, very peaceful and the suburban life, close to the cities amenities.

    Great public campground with plenty of elbow room.....lots of nearby nature trails. Solar heated showers and flush toilets. Really enjoyed our stay

    Great campground only 6 miles from the main gate. Bike trails and hiking trails are available. In 2012 there were no showers but water and flush toilets throughout the campground. Accept senior pass for free admission to ENP and reduced camping rates.
