A small but unique piece of land that was given to a family in the 1920s by the Florida Railroad Company. It stayed in the family until we purchased it. It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats. We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like. Minutes from I-95, but surrounded by the Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Preserve. Located on Martin Hwy, which was recently designated as a Florida Scenic Hwy. Fifteen minutes to Stuart and thirty minutes to West Palm Beach, a world away from the hustle and bustle. We realize that people also love Florida for Disney and tropical paradises but if that is what you want than this may not be your kind of place.

We purchased our property in 2017 and longed for the dream to build a home. Well, we built that home. We are now ready to share our place where we find so much tranquility with others. You can see how the old orange groves worked as we haven't filled in all the furrows yet. The old orange Grove is now home to cattle, horses, goats, ducks, and our little family. Learn more about this land: Bring your RV away from the hustle and bustle of the city to the wide open spaces of the country. The only sounds you'll hear are cows mooing, goats baaing, and horses neighing. Sunsets and the stars are a site to see out here. THE PROPERTY: The owners live on the property with their 2 children and are willing to be helpful in anyway. Children are more than welcome to tag along. Being kid friendly is a plus for us as our kids might be running around enjoying their property. Can't forget dog friendly either. Our dogs love to greet our guests. NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: If beaches are on your agenda, South Causeway and Fort Pierce Inlet State Park are only 25 minutes from the beach! Our favorite place to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner is Carter's Grocery, which is only 4 minutes from our property. ACTIVITIES: We have chickens that lay eggs and are great for eating so if you'd like some fresh eggs, feel free to go over to their house and grab some. We have a Pavillion with a fire pit that is welcomed to be used. Our dock provides a look out on our pond. Please feed the fish some food if you'd like. Also, take time to fish in our pond and catch some tilapia or blue gill. The kids have a blast fishing as the fish are easy to catch. THE SPACE: The site you'll be staying at is close to the owners house. There are 2 parking spots on asphalt that are available for the campers vehicles or park directly at your site. The ground will be grass that the camper will park on. Please note: we have 2 gates with gate codes that shut automatically. Please be sure each gate closes behind you! We have free roaming cattle and other farm animals outside the camping area. We are always open to recommendations on how we can make your stay even better! We cant wait to share our property with you and hopefully you'll find our place as somewhere you'd love to return!

There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within four miles. All accessable via bicycle on marked bike paths if that is your preferred method of travel. We offer both 30 and 50 amp electric, along with water and septic hookups. Maximum length 35', please call if longer. We're centrally located to many attractions like Disney World, Universal Studios, Legoland, and many other unique options. First time RVer? We're on site and will be happy to help you get parked, set up, and show you how to use the hookups. By the time you leave, you'll be a pro! Once you're settled you can sit outside and soak up the sun or enjoy a quiet meal at your own picnic table while watching the birds (you may be lucky enough to spot the Painted Buntings!). There's also a grassy area to let your trained and friendly dog(s) stretch their legs and get some play time in. When you're ready to venture out, you'll find great local "hole-in-the-wall" eateries along with your chain restaurant favorites. We're close to adventures of all types like Bok Tower Gardens, Legoland, several state parks, canoeing/kayaking, great fishing, paddle boarding, skydiving, Sunshine Flea Market, and the Spook Hill Mystery Spot. The Indian River is perfect for kayaking, jet skiing, or fishing and is a 5-minute drive. If you want to get sand between your toes, the beautiful beaches on the Atlantic Ocean are a short 20-minute drive over the Melbourne or Sebastian causeways. Disney and Orlando theme parks are approximately 1.25 hours away; less than 1 hour from Kennedy Space Center and Port Canaveral. Located in one of the top places in the country to live, Brevard County aka The Space Coast offers a tropical climate, lots of sunshine, and continual rocket launches that are easily viewed from our property.

Just got back from a week camping trip. Loved this place! Had amazingly dark skies if you like star gazing. Lots of hiking trails and it was nice and quiet. The camp host Mary, Joan, Bruce & Darlene) were great and very knowledgeable about the park. They did run out of fire wood on a week it was actually chilly in Florida! Will be going back booked another stay as soon as we got home.
