Corinth Recreation Area and Campground

52 sites · RV, Tent

Decidedly a nice place to stay, the Corinth Recreation Area is a small gem within the Sipsey Wilderness of William Bankhead National Forest.

Campsites are just a short hike to Lewis Smith Lake where a boat launch and 100-person pavillion rave about a good time. Venture into the surrounding old-growth forest and stop for a PB&J next to one of the many local waterfalls guaranteed to splash a little smile on your face.

In the rules it states no more than 6 people per campsite and 2 cars. 9 people so I paid $80.00 for 2 campsites. After being here and set up for hours they to say no more than 2 tents per site. I asked where that is posted. They don't know. So call their manager Tammy is asked where does it say that? "I don't have to show you anything. If you dont like it leave." Refund? " I don't refund anything contact park and recreation. Gov"
