Next to the Joshua tree national park, vast open desert Rocky mountains and sand dunes. Short drive to the neighboring communities but you wouldn't be able to tell when you're at the site. If you're ready for peace and quiet and an amazing sunset and sunrise. There is a little something for everyone. There are hiking trails, rock climbing, sand dunes, perfect for side by side and dirt bike. The road in and out is passable by two wheel drive all the way to the camp area, but the trail continues on to the very top of the mountain for experience 4x4 drivers. Camp site one is in a fenced area all other campsites are not. Please bring enough water and sunscreen. Remember to Always look down where you are stepping.Tucked in the back of the Coper Mountain, surrounded by the full spectrum of the desert, Vanishing Rock Ranch awaits . There is a fenced area at the very bottom of the drive way, but there are cleared sites all the way down to the hill. Fell free to choose where you like. Property lines are marked with stacked tires. There are 10 sites to choose from. When you go down Valley Vista keep going til you see the sign that says the ranch. That is the being of the property. Follow that road as far as you like and camp anywhere that is fitting to you. There is a road to the top of the hill for experienced 4x4 drivers only. But it's a nice hike as well and a must see view.

Vanishing Rock Ranch

Teala’s property was perfect for a secluded camping trip surrounded by open land and mountains. Plenty of space to park where you like and not be bothered by neighbors. 2wd accesible and service with verizon. Teala was very sweet and welcoming. Was greeted with gold panning gear and golf clubs for fun activities to enjoy during our stay. Would recommend to anyone who has a self contained RV or tent campers.

Great camp spot next to JTNP

Huge piece of land with plenty of good camping spots and make-your-own-adventure wheeling opportunities. Mountains provide plenty of cover from wind and sun, any 4WD should be able to get there. BLM land is close by so you hear some of the activities going on there at night ;) Host was super helpful and responsive-great experience overall.
