Site 2 - Tent Sites by Creek/Pond
Unmaintained site with insects
This was one of the least maintained tent sites we have been too. The creek had stagnant water for quite a long time which lead to a lot of mosquitoes and insects. Additionally, the two tent sites were not on plain / flat ground at all. The toilet seemed to never have been maintained with lots of spider webs and no toilet paper. The 2nd tent site had unrestricted entrance from the road and the host was unaware of some construction tools lying there which made us worry about safety at this location during the night. We had to abandon our camping plans due to this as we left the area after an hour of reaching the site. Overall there is 0 value for money at the site. I would not recommend this site to anyone.

Quiet, nice flat spot to park the van. David was super cool!

Secluded Spot In The Mountains
Secluded space up in the mountains of Garden Valley. It’s in a little mountain neighborhood so there are neighbors nearby. Beautiful, quiet, and calm. David was accommodating to our 40ft converted school bus but I definitely would check your driving skills as it was not the easiest space to back into and it’s definitely a climb with a fully equipped motorhome. Overall good experience. The more self contained you are, the better. Watch out for poison oak.

APPRECIATION
Land was Abundunt of Earth and it's little Creatures played a major role, as I came from City Living down south. The best nook found for or our family to Go White Water Rafting with All Outdoor for All on the American South + Middle Fork River. Pay attention its naturisk, was a lovely stay.
Thank you for how much Extra your Land and People helped with open communication for assistance, while providing extra light and extension chords as we needed.

Great weekend getaway!
I recently stayed at David’s and had an incredibly nice weekend away from the city. David has set up this location, tucked away from the main road for privacy, but easy to locate and find. I slept great with the sounds of wild turkeys, geese, and song birds, and took hikes each day on public land that is just a short drive from his camp site. El Dorado National Forest is really close and it was beautiful this time of year! David was a great host and very accommodating to anything needed to make the site more comfortable for you.
