Discover a tranquil haven in the countryside, where outdoor adventures abound just a 7-minute drive away from the conveniences of civilization. Surrounded by oak trees and teeming with wildlife, this serene spot features a small seasonal creek that comes to life with the soothing sound of rain. The campsite offers ample sun exposure, transforming into a quiet and dark haven after sunset. Access for vans and RVs is a breeze, conveniently located off a peaceful country road that forms a loop. Enjoy the privacy of camping on private land, respecting the boundaries and refraining from wandering to the house or other private properties. Explore the scenic country roads for picturesque views of the Sierras, perfect for walks or bike rides. Please ensure daily cleanup and maintain a serene atmosphere to preserve the local wildlife. Check-in before dark is recommended for easy navigation and setup. Experience the charm of this idyllic retreat! 🌳🏞️Enjoy the quiet tranquility of hundreds of Oak Trees on this 5 acre homestead that is located in a quiet country neighborhood in Rescue. The property is about 12 mins off of HWY 50, 15 mins to the south fork of the American River at Lotus and Coloma, 15 mins to Folsom Lake, 20+ vineyards are within 20 mins (some are 5 mins away), 10 mins to Pine Hill Nature Preserve and Kanaka Valley BLM land, 15 mins to Marshall Gold Discovery State Park, 15 mins to Red Hawk Casino, 6 mins to gas and grocery stores yet you feel like you are away from everything! The area is rich in history being in the heart of the gold rush area. The site is fairly private and very quiet. We are located in a little bit of a valley so we tend to stay a bit cooler in the warmer months. This site tends to get quite a bit of sun exposure.

It was a great spot, quiet except for the coyotes at night. Plenty of privacy. And easy access to shopping, ect. Just an overall nice spot. Will probably use again in the future.

Paridise close to the city!!
What an experience! I had an amazing time at Rescue Ranch. Beautiful scenery, private, quiet, and fresh air. Cynthia was an such a great host who was helpful with any questions. The property was full of positive energy and was 20 minutes from the city, but you'll feel like you were miles away. I will definitely be back for another visit. Highly recommend.

Rescue Ranch RV Site
Pretty and quiet site on the edge of civilization. If your navigation guides you though several large housing developments, don’t panic (like we did). The last mile turns into a rolling country road through sparse residential properties. The camp site is on the edge of a large property. The owners house is far enough and separated by a grove of trees that we don’t hear or see them. The site is next to a road, but there were no noticeable traffic - we didn’t notice the road until the next morning. Host Cynthia is a delight. Chitchatted with us while we set up, told us about all the good hiking around. If you’re looking for wilderness, this is not it. This is a quiet, private site surrounded by trees; nice spot for quiet cup of coffee amidst bird chirps in the morning, or gin and tonics in the evening, in between good hikes in the nearby state parks and BLM land.

Sweet camp find!
Cool secluded place to pitch a tent or park the RV. Far away from the big, noisy roads yet still close enough to hit the off-road park in Prairie City or other nearby attractions like Folsom Lake. Host Cynthia is very nice and accommodating. All around a very pleasant experience and would definitely come back and recommend.
