Originally a gold and quartz mine, Lakeview Terrace Resort was built by the Army Corp of Engineers to house the workers building the Trinity Dam in the 1960's.  Experience the rich history and tranquil setting of the Shasta Trinity National Forest! Far less crowded than neighboring Trinity and nearby Shasta Lakes, Lewiston Lake is the ideal destination when you truly wish to get away from it all.  Nestled hillside overlooking the peaceful Lewiston Lake, you will find Lakeview Terrace Resort serving up some of the best camping in Northern California. Large pool, open late spring through the hot months. Relaxing cabin trip
The family had a great time at the cabin, pool, and lake nearby. It was great to have a nice camp fire with a view of the stars and milky way. Ryan was very accommodating and a great host.

Great Cabin
The location is absolutely beautiful. Something right out of book. We loved how the cabin felt secluded even though we had neighbors. When we needed a break from the dog, we would let him chill in the kennel. Our cabin was right in front of the tree house which made it convenient. Considering how warm it was this past weekend, it was nice that the cabin had an ac unit in the living room that would cool the majority of the home.

We all had a grand time at Lakeview Terrace Resort. Ryan was friendly, accommodating and offered great information. The cabins were cozy and the views were refreshing. We will definitely recommend and come back again!

The Lakeview Terrace Resort
We had a great time at the Lakeview Terrace Resort. It is the perfect little getaway in Lewiston if you are looking to camp but prefer a cabin. The cabin we stayed in was clean and had everything we needed to cook basic meals. We also met some deer friends that came around to hang out with us! A great weekend getaway.
