An oasis for the soul
The shower and the bathroom was nice, but what made the place really special was the porch decks to supply shade looking out to the little lake and the trees and reeds. Frogs to keep you company at night, with a sky full of stars and a morning full of birds and little fish. Close enough to gas and a small grocery and even a gift shop. Nacho was really responsive to questions. Quiet and peaceful, just the break from the road and bustle we needed.

Lakeside RV Site #10 Furnace Creek
Very beautiful and peaceful. Love the waterfront area and they even let you use their kayaks. They explain everything well and it’s all super easy to find. Would definitely stay here again if we came back this direction.

Personally, I enjoyed spending time there, but we got bug bites all over our legs. And I wanted to know if they could let us know in advance. Besides that the host was nice and helpful.

Beautiful campsite in the desert
Very nice and welcoming host. Public area on the river was very nice with power and beautiful lights. The night views to the mountains were beautiful.
The only (small) downside is the single bathroom for the entire campground(there are portapottys here and there tho).

We loved the river access! So nice for the kids and to relax beside.

Unfortunately it was SUPER windy the night of arrival and we couldn’t enjoy the landscape too much. That said, there was everything you could need for a great stay right in the middle of the Sierras and Death Valley!
