Good spot for overnight camping.
Looked like a good place for an overnight stay, however when we arrived, the spot we reserved with electricity was not available. Since it was extremely hot, to stay would have meant generator running all night. Apparently there was a miscommunication since I paid extra for electricity. However, the host was great, very apologetic, refunded our money recommended a nearby place to stay and then offered a free night and permission to run the generator if we didn’t find a spot. Great spot, unfortunate experience, but would try again if we return to the area.

Vintage trailer lodging
Cool vintage Spartan trailer
Cool, huge, remodeled Spartan trailer with original wood in the quaint, romantic bedroom. The pomegranate tree outside the bedroom window was blooming when we were there, so pretty! Had a relaxing evening here, enjoyed the sunset, and would come back for sure. The AC was really cool, having access to our Netflix account through the Roku TV was convenient, and the hosts were really gracious for delivering us ice cubes and stocking the fridge with cold water!

Foxtails everywhere
The host was very friendly and the location was convenient with a lovely view. The only downside was that the area was marked as “grass” but it is not green grass, it’s dried straw-like grass that is overrun with foxtails. Normally we wouldn’t mind but our dogs immediately got foxtails in their paws, in their eyes.. we had to carry them to the dirt road just so that we could walk them. I can’t recommend this place to people traveling with dogs. But to anyone else, it was a nice overnight.

Quiet and Private
I was in late and out early so didn’t require the amenities that were offered. Communication was good and the spot was quiet and private. Fresh fruit was offered, but I was already gone.

We loved our stay with Wilson. Everyone was so welcoming. We ran into traffic on the way and the hosts were so understanding. The site itself is very spacious and secluded. It is also very close to stores and restaurants if needed. Great location. We dropped our trailer for the day and went up to Big Bear which is only about 1hr from the site. It was perfect.

Second time I have stayed here. If you’re expecting something fabulous, this is not for you. However, the host has always been exceptionally gracious to us. They have a large field behind their house that I can run my dogs after being cooped up all day. Plus easy to find off of freeway.
