Waterfall Site
Private and peaceful with nice view
Overall it was a decent experience. It is on a private property surrounded by houses, but the campsite itself is far enough away to make you feel like you're peacefully alone in the woods. You could hear the neighbors sometimes but it was a quiet experience for the most part. There is a 5-minute hike to get to the campsite and the is a steep decline near the end, so all-terrain cart wagons are recommended to carry all your gear. There was another tent at the site when we arrived, we think the owner leaves it there in case you forget your tent, but we just picked it up and moved it somewhere else to make room for our own tents. You can't actually access the creek or the waterfall as it's not on another property. Being close to the creek, you see and hear all the woodland creatures. We saw plenty of squirrels, a deer, and a mountain lion on the other side of the creek. Site comes with firewood ready and plenty of dried grass for kindling. We were overrun by ants at night. The entire ground was covered in ants. They climbed on our legs, on our dogs, and all over the outside of our tent. Fortunately, our tents are insect-proof so we were able to sleep through the night without being eaten alive by ants. We did have to haul our food back to the truck in the middle of the night and the ants were gone by morning. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have kids who might spill food and attract ants. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes the outdoors.

Quiet and private setting.
Quiet and private spot. I would stay here again. Convenient to freeway and other conveniences like coffee shop and Old Town Auburn.
