Next to Historic Winery in the heart of Santa Cruz Mountains in the quaint town of Felton. Located between two state parks, Henry Cowell and Fall Creek. Just 6 miles, up in the mountains, from the Pacific Ocean and the Monterey Bay. Half a mile from the famous Roaring Camp Railway. Wine & Cider tasting next door at Hallcrest Vineyards; Dine in Felton, hiking, biking and local shops to explore. Please note when booking that each of the sites are limited to two adults only. Children are welcome.

John sites are great in my site number one was really private, which I enjoy. I will definitely go back again and as often as I can, I like the fact that it wasn’t as crammed in as a lot of the other places I say convenience was a big factor for what I do in the area, what a great place

Peaceful Spot outside Santa Cruz
Awesome spot not far from Santa Cruz. Host met us promptly to help park. Spot fit our 25ft Class B RV.

Site 1 - Felton Open Space Camp Sites
Beautiful and quiet property with shaded campsites and a clean portapotty. John was great, we stayed for 4 nights, felt totally comfortable and safe. It is centrally located to a lot of state parks and mtn bike trails. This will be our go to spot when visiting the area!

Van Camping
It worked well for me to have my little campervan at John's place. The area is quiet but close to town and not far from Santa Cruz. The flush toilet was a bit of a walk but I have a Porta potty in my van. I did not check out the porta potty close to the campsite. I also carry water with me, and this worked well because it is dry camping. There is no electricity or shower or wifi at the campsites but my cell phone got great reception. I was visiting my friends in Santa Cruz so I showered at their place and charged my stuff there. John and his dog were friendly and showed me where to go and left the flush toilet available 24/7, which was so nice. I was so busy I didn't have time to try the hard cider at the winery but maybe next time. The property is quite lovely and peaceful. Thank you John for your hospitality and letting me camp 🏕
