This beautiful property sits on the banks of the Fourche La Fave (pronounced Foosh La Fay)  River. This 151 mile long river was once the grounds of the Caddo Native American Tribe. The river is now home to a wide variety of wildlife, and offers multiple species of fish. Scott County is over 70% public national forest, with thousands of acres of public land available for the outdoor enthusiast. Though this property has the look and feel of woods and river camping, there is actually a 24 hour convenience store less than two miles away just in case you need a midnight snack!    Learn more about this land: Beautiful flowing river for swimming, fishing, canoeing. Nice open air pavilion with power,  LED lighting and a large picnic table. Firepit with added grill for cooking right at the rivers edge.  Dedicated hammocking area overlooking the river, or have some friendly competition with a game of Bag-O game (boards provided).  This area offers a wide open space for exercising, walking/bike riding along a country road, or just relaxing by riverbank.  Want a little more adventure? This area boasts an expansive network of country dirt roads and trails for your ATV/UTV, and is less than five miles from the Ouachita National Forests' Fourche Mountain Trail. All this but still close to civilization. A 24 hour convenience store is less than two miles from the campsite. This quaint little spot has a lot to offer!  Beautiful flowing river for swimming, fishing, canoeing. Nice open air pavilion with power,  LED lighting and a large picnic table. Yearling Ridge Riverfront Camp
My husband and our three dogs absolutely loved it. It’s secluded, very picturesque and relaxing and we really appreciated being able to have our dogs off leash so they could stretch out and run. Even though it rained close to record amounts two of our days there we enjoyed being in the camper with the blinds open seeing the beautiful trees and river.

Autumn Leaves and Starry Nights
Yearling Ridge is private and quiet. Autumn is an excellent time to visit. I enjoyed the peaceful setting and the beautiful autumn leaves. Living in the city, I often forget how gorgeous a starry night can be.

Yearling Ridge Riverfront Camp
My partner and I loved how tucked away and secluded this location was in comparison to other typical campsites. The swing benches along the creek added an extra touch of magic and we appreciated how easy it was to access water and electricity! Our two dogs loved visiting with the local pup on site, Bolin, and never missed the opportunity to run around and play in the shaded lawn next to our site! The host was incredibly friendly and made us feel more than welcome!

Awesome land, awesome owner!
Beautiful land right on the river, Daniel was so kind as mentioned in other reviews. A little bit of traffic in the road, higher on some days but overall a great experience!

Private riverfront retreat
This is a perfect spot for a getaway. It’s private and on a river with a pavilion with views of the river and a very functional fire pit that supports all kinds of campfire cooking including Dutch oven cooking. The host Daniel is terrific and takes great care of his guests, including making sure there is plenty of firewood! Other pluses include access to potable water and power. Highly recommend this spot!!
