Great place!
Barker Gap LLC was exactly what we needed for a weekend escape!
It’s a smaller campground but that’s what makes it so great. It’s quiet, it’s peaceful and absolutely gorgeous. Brian and his family were such gracious hosts. He met us when we got there and made sure we were good all weekend. He really takes special care of Barker Gap and I’m excited to see what else he has planned.
The trail access is almost directly across from the entrance of Barker Gap. And the trails were great. We went to the Natural Dam too! (We didn’t take the RZR’s but we saw other people who did. We didn’t want to chance it.)
We will definitely be going back to Barker Gap!

Beautiful place and met Brian. Offered any help needed and even gave me a cigar for a later campfire. Easy access and will definitely be back.

Cub Cabin
Cozy and fun cabin!
This place is so nice! The cabin is clean, comfy, and inviting! The property is very well maintained and so pretty! There is plenty of space for several guests yet still private enough to enjoy your own space. The Buckhorn trails are close and easily accessible.
The Cub Cabin is fun! It’s a great size for a small family! It is perfect for our family of 4. The beds and bedding are comfy, the shower is great, and we loved the hanging hammock chair! There’s a small fridge, microwave, and keurig coffee maker. There’s extra chairs you can get out and use, a folding cot, or just relax on the bed. There’s outside grilling/sitting area is comfortable and inviting! Dad grilled hot dogs on the provided grill, the kids enjoyed playing, and mom relaxed and supervised! Perfect place for a little family get-away!

I’m adding a second review to mention this: I am a digital nomad (work FT from the RV) and Brian has gone out of his way to make sure this remote spot has plenty of connectivity. Internet service was good - not great - but then he put in a new router and it’s very fast. WiFi may not be top of the list for most campers but if you do work remote, this camp will work out well for you.

Peaceful Getaway
Wonderful spot between Fort Smith & Fayetteville! Brian has put a lot of thought into this cozy getaway. Small enough to be peaceful & relaxing but big enough for a family or group to enjoy and spread out. Beautiful hiking nearby at Devil’s Den State Park. I’m a full-time nomad and will stop here when coming through this beautiful part of the country. Oh and Brian & Misty are Awesome hosts!
