Serine desert. Plenty of space
Took the wrong turn and started setting up camp at the wrong place (pro tip - private property no trespassing signs do not = hipcamp sites!). Regina helped us find the right place, which was in a great location and had nice desert surroundings.

Loved site 1!!
Really convenient location and VERY accommodating host!!! I wish the posting had noted that the lower spots(3-5) require high clearance. I really hurt the underside of my car getting down. Ended up going back up to site 1- it was LOVELY and had great Saguaro Cacti!! Just be careful if you vehicle is on the low side.

Serine desert. Plenty of space
Site #3 was a quiet, basic camp spot in a little palo verde valley behind some houses. It felt like safe spot close to town to park and sleep, with lots of birdsong in the morning. Regina was really responsive and communicative, especially helpful since I was arriving after dark. Thank you, Regina!

Verbally assaulted by Host
I booked two nights at Serine Desert Plenty of Space 24 hours in advance. I notified the Host upon my arrival.
I have been a hipcamper for 7 months.
I parked in the driveway and looked around.
20 minutes later a woman comes out of the house yelling "You, get off of my property, now!"
I was absolutely shocked.
I introduced myself and said that I had booked for two nights and had sent a message.
She pointed to the area behind her house and told me to go there. She then turned her back on me to leave.
I asked her about the trash bin. She turned and pointed to them in the driveway.
Again she turned her back to me, leaving me standing in the driveway, wondering what happened?
I was verbally assaulted by a hipcamp Host.
I got into my vehicle and left the place.
I was not apologized to. I refuse to be treated so disrespectfuly.
The Host should be ashamed of that behavior.
