The Navajo Reservation is one of the biggest which is bigger than the state of West Virginia of the Navajo People. The Navajo People are more caretakers of the the beautiful landscape that’s very secluded. The family where I come from own a big property because of our livestock of horses, cattle, goats and sheep. We been on this property for 100s of years and still going strong and it’s the land of the infamous of the “Upper Antelope Canyon” which is literally our backyard. There is so much history and culture meaning to the (Diné)Navajo land that the Diné people hold and cherish.

We provide a private Navajo Hogan experience with a beautiful view 360 degree view. We are nearby all beautiful locations like the infamous Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, Antelope Point Marina, Little Colorado.
What a beautiful and amazing place. The hogan was cozy and the host, Richardson, provided us with everything to satisfy our basic needs. We really enjoyed the traditional Navajo breakfast he delivered in the morning. I also recommend adding a tour of Upper Antelope Canyon. This was a highlight of our stay. Richardson shared his knowledge of the canyon, tribe, reservation and so much more. He even took photos of us in the canyon, air dropping them to the I- phone when we finished. Thank you for this memorable experience!
If you need a to decide on a stellar spot, Navajo Hogan (Earth Homes) in Page, AZ. We were roughing it a little bit but in a way that made us feel so connected and grounded with Mother Earth. Cots look uncomfortable but weren’t and we slept like rocks. It was supposed to be 38° outside, but we were so warm with the wood burning stove that we slept very comfortably on top of the covers. Richardson is an amazing host and takes his guests on a trip with Navajo tacos (a unique delight), storytelling by the fire, traditional tea and breakfast in the morning before a private tour in the (in my opinion) most beautiful and peaceful slot canyon. It all makes you feel a type of why you would expect. Get ready to open your heart and mind to an indescribably beautiful experience. It was unreal and I was bummed we didn’t book more nights. We will definitely go back.
i really enjoyed my stay here! the domes feel private and isolated, however it’s only a short drive into the town, so anything you may need is easily accessible. inside the dome was quite comfortable and warm (the blanket provided was enough to sleep with throughout the night), there was a little stove inside for cooking, and we were provided with lanterns and water as needed. this is such a unique and cool experience, i would definitely recommend!
Such a gift to be welcomed onto this land for a couple of nights. It is absolutely beautiful. And Richardson is a wonderful host- attentive, caring, and welcoming. Our time here was a true joy!
The area was stunning and the night sky was breathtaking. Everything about the stay was welcoming and enjoyable. As a bonus we got to see horses grazing as we ate breakfast.
