Black Sands Campground may sound a little sinister, but this rustic, undeveloped spot has been a popular recreation destination since the 1930s.
True to its name, it offers dark sandy beaches (along with hiking and wildlife-viewing). As it’s accessible only by boat, you’ll already be prepped to enjoy the fishing and scuba diving opportunities here. Once your time’s up, you’ll be plenty eager to get back to Black.
