This cabin was the perfect little getaway for our artist retreat weekend! It's cozy inside and the space heater works very well! The outside has a lot of fun play structures and hammocks to let out your inner kid (or actual kids) and the twinkle lights add a touch of magic! I have been here a few times now and it keeps getting nicer every time! It shows that there is a lot of care and love that has gone into this place :) I highly recommend checking it out!

There was more perks then listed in the ad we were grateful for the levelled deck platform for the tent and the provided barbecue , although we didnât need it ! Was a nice extra ! Lake was within walking distance via the dirt road ! And another just a short distance in a vehicle ! Plenty of firewood !

Weekend Trip to Ahki House
Very lovely spot! Quiet & very tucked away. This made it one of my best hip camp experiences by far, plus the wild life was active saw about 6 deers I think white tailed. Killbear provincial park is 45 min away nice trails & views ! Along with hatchery trail/waterfall. Amazing time! Nice way to end the summer! Thanks David!!

Cindyâs land was private quaint and so beautiful!! It was nestled in the wilderness away from noise and light pollution, and the sky lit up at night time with millions of beautiful stars!! The host was awesome helping us set up even and letting us know about all the local festivities!! Everything we needed was just a quick drive away for fun or resources like our furnace breaking lol We canât wait to go back again!!

We caught PG in its infancy and what a treat. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The sites a huge. The put in at the lake is exceptional, with a fabulous dock and small sandy beach for easy access for canoes and kayaks. The birding was also amazing. The river was fun to paddle, but the many beaver are hard at work, and that's just nature. We look forward to seeing the next stages of development.

We really enjoyed our two night stay in the Hairy Foxes site! Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and helpful management. While we couldn't have a fire on our site, the communal firepit was just steps from our site. We enjoyed meeting the other campers and the manager kept it well stocked with nice dry hardwood. The bathroom was a work in progress but was immaculate with new fixtures and shower. The night sky was stunning. We will absolutely be back!

Such a great spot and the cabin is very cozy and had everything that we needed and more! The kids loved the hammocks and play structures and the bunk beds.

My boyfriend, our dog, and I stayed here for the weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The campsite was clean, well-maintained, and nicely secludedâjust the peaceful getaway we were hoping for. We slept in our car and still felt comfortable and safe the whole time. Antonino was very kind and replied quickly, which made communication and planning super easy. Everything about our stay was amazing, and weâll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet retreat in nature!

5 nights at Lakeside (Parry Sound/Nipissing)
We had an amazing time and Pat and Mario are wonderful hosts that make your stay so enjoyable ! Pine Lake is gorgeous and so are the sunrises and sunsets that go with it. The fishing was incredible and the trailer and outhouse were super clean . We will be going again next year for sure!

Second time up to Maple Rivers Log cabins, Sequin, Parry Sound. Was there last year. Cabin 3, Dariusz,s 3 cabins are set in a beautiful, serene setting surrounded by a mixed forest, of pines, maples, Birch..., they are off grid, nicely spaced , in the center a large community fire pit. Trails to follow to a deep gorge, shower, large fridge freezer to share with fellow hip camper,s, Large BBQ, outdoor sink, kitchen area to wash dishes. Some dishes to use. Garbage container. Pit toilet never smells. The host's friendly dog "Daisy" comes to play fetch with balls or sticks., Maple lake is 20 mins away as is Orrville general store. And Rousseau. Dariusz is very friendly host always willing to answer questions, fix any concerns. His wife is of great help as well. I highly recommend Maple Rivers Log Cabins, and will keep going back. Thank you Dariusz for your hospitality. Thanks for your company Daisy girl. And Tito, Daisy will teach you well. Blessings

I loved my stay at the cabin! Although there is no electricity from the grid, Dariusz uses propane and solar cells to equip the camp with a fridge/freezer, hot water, and light, which I really liked. I loved Daisy, their female Border Collie; she protects the visitors during the nights by sleeping under one of the cabins, and she is a lovely companion during the day! Bring a ball, she loves playing with other dogs with the ball. My dog and I really enjoyed our week there: fresh air, quiet and rustic place, lots of hiking opportunities around, and off-leash walks/play on the property. Will definitely return next year.

Such a gem!! If you want relaxing in a calm chill environment this is for you! I could have spent days locked in the yurt happily! Thereâs also lots to do in the surrounding area, hiking, canoe etc. Also close to provincial parks. Very dog friendly and they have 2 wonderful dogs themselves! The hosts were fantastic people and made us feel comfortable from the start! Will be back for sure!

We had such a great time at this campsite. We would book back here in a heartbeat. It was exceptionally clean and the property is well cared for. We had a couple other friends at the neighboring sites and we all had a great time around the communal firepit. They provided the wood and a hose nearby to ensure that the fire was put out safely before we all went to bed. We are all planning another trip at the same time for next summer!
